Finally got me posterior into gear and sorted out some nice boots to go on her car, choosing the right tyres ( sizes, profiles n widths ) to get compromise of all areas etc. 195/50/15's on rear ( yoko parada spec2's ) and bridgestone b340 (smart car tyres) 175/55/15's front to give better grip but less chance on aquaplaning and virtually no difference to dry steering as my g/f is small n weak bless her leary cotton socks.

Initially the ride is v good, thing which I had noticed are slightly more noise on motorway speeds and slight wander under braking to a stop ( expected that ) . I originally was getting longer studs and 10mm spacers to get the correct offset as these were 50mm offset rims but I just thought I would try them first before shelling out 56 quid for the studs ( as once again with these cars akward size m12x1.25 pitch)  plus what ever the spacers were gonna cost. I knew the rears were gonna touch the strut but when lowered gave more than adequate clearance. fronts were no probs at all.  So I have the thought of putting a slight flat on the edge of the shock base to give more clearance as I reckon I can rotate the coil spring where the last turn ends away from the flattend off area which then wont compromise the spring preformance etc. It makes the whole job easier and the way it is now there is no rubbing on the rear arches. Feel free to give your ten cents worth! Im always open to suggestion and learning more. Thinking of leaving the H on the centre caps, makes people guess even more to try and work out what it is! ( ahem, its the special import honda , yeah the smaller version- S200.....)

yeah i thought so too, they are very similar to originals ( +1 spoke ) and  the white works pretty well with the red paint, not to a la chav being only one rim size up.

I was going to buy a set of those for my Capp at one point but found my 5-spokes for very cheap in mint condition so went with them instead Those 'Teg wheels are meant to be very lightweight and strong from what I've heard.

yes jaik they be light! I actually have a second set of these wheel rims in my room, 100%mint, too good to go on her car, they are so mint they are still stunning white on the inside and still have the original black laser etching build date on inner rim lip! they will be going on my cappo when i get one for a project. My motorbike will be first finsihed before i attempt that project.

quick update, been fettling as per usual with her car, stopped the wandering at the steering wheel now( when braking upto a stop ), noticed when I put the new wheels n tyres on the steering wheel wasn't central so I checked the tracking on it, was toe out instead of the parallel , gave quick adjustment and been fine since and it also feels a helluva lot better stablitity wise on motorways now too.

Gonna check the rear end at some point as when we got it it was worn out on the o/s inner edge of the tyre, I gave one the adjustable arms a quick tweak before I put a pair of 175's on the old rims ( as i didnt want them wearing out straight away ) and for the 4-5months they were on it didnt show signs of abnormal wear. But as always I wanna know its adjusted correctly so the thing can handle as good as it should.

Hardly anyone knows what capps are over here so they can be passed off as a 2000 or so model!

sorry champ but i have to say it, i reckon thats the stupidest thing putting honda rims on the capp, it defeats the whole purpose! it just seems very silly to me . cap seems like its in good condition though, looks clean & tidy.

Hope there is no friction on the studs when you put the wheels on...  They will snap or the wheel will come off eventually otherwise. I don't mind the honda rims - just change the centrecap and it would be fine!

i thought the honda integra alloys were also PCD 114.3?
i presume you need spigot rings to fit these aswell?

nc30pete - what is the centre bore of these alloys and did you have to fit spigot rings?

also, how much did they cost you? as i have found a set, but not sure if they are a little expensive...

the bore is bit bigger not sure exactly what tho, i paid 170 for those ones with tyres on it but were wrong size , also have another set ( just bought the rims on this set )i bought ages ago for 130 and they are soo mint i couldnt put them on my now ex mrs cappo. They still have the black laser etch on the inside of the rim! ( were only used on a honda track car - all for 4 sessions ) I like the fact that they have the honda emblem on it- makes everyone else look in confusion even more as the cappo had no badges on it. Man i miss driving that little rust bucket of fun with those yoko's 195 paradas on the back they were so much better in adverse conditions, if it slid it was so much more predictable- got bollocked many a time doing a broady with her in it

i found out the centre bore if you're interested - they are 64.1mm,
so you'll need a 60.1 - 64.1 spigot ring.

just put on a set of these today (with spigot rings)
what tyres pressures did you use on front and rear tyres nc30pete ?

standard cappo 14" wheels pressure is about 23
15" honda wheels when on integra is probably 30-32
so i'm thinking 28???

28 may be a little high. Try it and see but I'd have thought around the 24-25psi mark would be better.  I have 185/60/14s and 25psi is spot on.  Jaik runs 24psi in his 195/45/15s.

I got two new tyres today, 195/45/16, and the tyre shop put 34psi in them.  Talk about twitchy!  I've dropped them down to 30 but I think I'll go down again.  Maybe 26 or so.
