Grabbed a strut brace off Fred on here And a pair of these for the front, but haven't got them on yet Then this, last week: I took Will's advice, and did this, but it was an absolute b*tch to pull through - Coming next - after meeting Brian (CaffeineHit - Brian), and seeing his wheels (14x7 +14 - i think that's the look i'll be going for. So seeing as my tyres are wearing out soon, im on the look out now for something i might want to try on my car. This is Brian's car, and i really like the poke! To be honest, i was under the impression that flares were illegal as well, but im not sure what im basing that on! Poke for sure is a big no no with the boys in blue - but so far the tally is exposed pod filter, HID lights, and now two fixed bucket seats. Why stop now! lol The seats are on the rails, so they slide well, but yes it's a tight fit! However i've had buckets before, and i really love the extra feel they give you. The added confidence is tremendous. I'll need a smaller steering wheel now, and it'll be complete on the inside. I sit so much lower it's amazing, literally just on the rails - so head room has increased very very noticeably. Always wanted a cage too, but honestly i dont think it would be worth the police attention.. I'm a 34 waist incase anyone was wondering, and i really wouldnt advise anyone larger to put in buckets. These JUST fit in, so anything bigger is ruled out, which means anyONE bigger could not get in. Just have to stay on a strict diet now! |

We could probably fit about 3 cappuccinos on a tow truck if we were going to do that or maybe more if they were all rotated 90 degrees! |

Flares are can be engineered as its it illegal to have tires poking. The seats are also legal as you are allowed to have a 2 seater with a fixed bucket only 4 seaters can't from what I've been told Looking good Gabs! |

Well finally FINALLY finally, 4 months after my cappy was reversed in to, it's landed in the workshop today to begin the repairs New fender and headlight were ordered courtesy of Nick (SuzukiGeek) - who i cannot recommend enough for all his hard work!! Even though the insurance approved repairers are half orangutan, he managed to find a language midway that they seemed to understand, and now we're cooking! the repairer, for reference: now on to the repairs: We'll see how long they take this time..... Also going to get the roof repainted in the original grey metallic colour. And the day it comes out, i'll start sorting out the turbo replacement. Interesting times ahead. |

Removed for repairs! The driver fender got bent, so it's all out to get replaced and realigned Thanks anyway for the offer Sneaza This was the first time i've seen it without the front bumper.. really puts the size of that intercooler into perspective! |

Well when the assessor first came from NRMA, he said to me frankly - they had no idea what it was, nor how to repair it - and he gave me the option of writing it off, out of ease. I had to do the ordering through SuzukiGeek, thank god he's so good at what he does! Had i been in a better position, i would've written it off and bought it back, but i need to keep it open for a future sale, just incase. I actually asked the repairer if he could give me a front bumper like yours, but he doesn't want to know about any extra work All in time, i suppose. |

LOL.....That's the problem when they DON'T EXIST...LOL. Yes, Suzukigeek is well worth the Money. As for future sale, as long as it is registered you shouldn't have any problems should you...??? I mean, I just got mine done after over 12 months from purchase, fixed the bits, got the 'Blue Slip' and away we go.............As for my Front Bumper...That's a ONE OFF....As is the rest of my Bodykit on Sneaza.........Lot of work, but it's getting there slowly... |

Went in to the body shop today, my roof sections, and roll bar have all been repainted and came out a treat! Instead of just the front fender repainted, i have had both doors and everything from there upwards repainted - i cant believe how shiny and awesome it looks!!!!! Should be back to me in a few days, updated photos will ensue, stay tuned! Since im here - when i am reassembling the rubbers on the roof, what should i use to set them in place? Sealant of some sort, but what?.... |

When I did my roof panels I cant remember if you needed to glue the riubbers on? I dont think so. Anyway there are some trims that need a bit of glue and I used some good old Selley's Quick Grip. So far so good. |

In for mini meet! Current wheel plans have been put on hold, as we're moving houses in 4 weeks, so i dont have anywhere to store them! But all in time! Hence the unfortunate lack of updates But i will take some new photos to post! |

The car with the cool wheels is CaffeineHit-Brians !! but my inspiration I've got 2 sparco's, and Brian has just put one in his one. My impressions - awesome fit, even though im a bigish guy, very supportive and a great addition. But passengers always need a hand getting in and out! It sits much lower too, which gives it a more fun feel! |

teeny weeny update - the existing allen screws were a pain in the ... to remove, 20 years of sitting in place had them locked in tight! but an allen key, with some serious force, makes anything possible! yet to drive it, but i had a 330mm wheel in my old car, and loved it, so we'll see how this compares looks nice at least! |

seats - well i'm 180cm tall, and i can tell you it has given back a lot of headroom. im sure Will would agree with that, as he has one too, and he is a giant! but at the same time, it's a fixed back bucket, so after a long session, you need to stretch out a little. still happy with them, great support, and gives it a fun feel as for the wheel, the stock wheel is 360mm diameter, this one is 330mm - not much difference on paper, but it makes for more accurate driving, and feels great! just need to get used to the deep spoke design, with the horn in the middle - as opposed to the original flat surface, which was all too easy to slap when some monkey swerves in your lane! |

zodias are a fortune! but they certainly look nice and comfy! as above, i broke an allen key in the process of removing the bolts from the original wheel they were in there TIGHT but after that, line up the new wheel, and easy easy easy i really didnt like the look of the original wheel, because it reminded me of a bus sized steering wheel, in a miniature car... so hopefully this wheel lasts me a while promised myself no more mods until i find work, but if that happens soon i want to make the leap to some suspension/wheels/front lip so, fingers crossed! |
