Available here http://www.adaptronic.com.au/downloads.php#WARIV1

It's got some pretty colours on the tuning page  And a new feature that shows the current cell in the data grid as well as the graph on tuning, quite useful.

Been watching it and they still have to do a couple of things.
In the new version they forgot to put logging back in but are changing it.

WARI V1.13 and e420c firmware V1.0Q.

I haven't had the guts to try reflashing the ECU yet but the new wari seems to have some useful new features (copy & paste in the MAPs for example).

Now that's something I've been after for a while - so much for getting any work done tomorrow

Firmware V2.0 has just been released with VE tunig. How easy will it be now.

Quote from Rob from their website. (I dont think he will mind)

With the VE tuning, you have to specify an engine capacity and injector size, as well as tuning the VE map itself.
The ECU firmware performs a theoretical calculation of how many milliseconds of injector duration are needed, based on MAP, engine capacity, injector size, number of cylinders, target AFR, and of course the Volumetric Efficiency.
So, you basically tune the VE map instead of a milliseconds map, and when you increase or decrease the VE values it will still have a direct effect on the injector pulse width. The reason why VE tuning is so nice is because you can just enter something like 80% VE in every cell initially, and usually the car will run fairly well straight away!
The fuel trim is still applied afterwards (that is, on top of the calculated injector duration in VE mode).

Cheers
Rob

... and now a v3.0.  I do wonder whether this is fixing a specific bug or regression found in the recent v2.0 code.

"V3.000 (2010-Feb-25) - WARI Version 3.000
    * Improved robustness of code for communications between microcontroller and EEPROM chip, to better handle electrical interference, and prevent potential ECU resetting or settings corruption
    * Added Ignition Output test function (on 'ECU Data' window in WARI, with the Injector Test buttons)"

I'll need to borrow my mates Windows laptop that has a "real" rs232 port again as FlashIt doesn't seem
to like my USB adapter.

PS: I tried the VE tuning on 2.0 with a brand new fuel map and was able to drive to work (gently mind) after only a couple of minutes tuning, so I'd say it can really make a big difference when starting from scratch.
