Still trying to fine tune things when i have time, but i have just realised that my Manifold Absolute Temprature data seems to be way off... Basicly its ranging inbetween 25.5C & 30.5C.... That cant possibly be right can it?! |

Manifold Air Temperature - Check what the sensor is reading with WARI before starting the car when everything is cold and it should be close to ambient air temperature. Probably first thing one morning is best. |

It reads 27C flat (i do alot of logging and have the data at my fingertips ) This is regardless of outside temp. Im assuming one of two things: A) its not wired up properly or B) Not calibrated properly.
As there was a mixup with the wiring when i got it, it could be possible the MAT sensor input was mixed up with something else. The weird thing is that running any ecu setups(including all files in ecufile post), I get the same result.... if it were a configuration error wouldnt this change slightly? Or could it just be i have a knackered sensor?! Dont have too much time to check it right now, but in a week or so, ill have 3 months of freedom. So any tips on how to check any/all of these things? |

Probaly check the sensor first with an ohm meter and by slowly heating it up to see if the output gradually changes. There will probbaly be the reading you should get in the manual somewhere. Next would be to check the ecu wiring connections. |
