 Larger Injectors - Ecu map request (currently 480 views) |

For those of you who are running higher boost / larger injectors - would it be possible to post a copy of your ecu map file?
I just received larger 326cc injectors in the post today and think I may have to take the day off tomorrow  however being lazy I don't really fancy walking to work if I run out of time sorting things, so I'm hoping for a bit of a head start

Great to have a head start but dont forget as long as you are running version 3 or 4 firmware you can use the VE tuning feature once you have the car up and running.
After fitting 295cc injectors about a month ago it took me about half an hour to get the motor to idle and rev properly and after that I have had it in VE tuning mode. Its getting better slowly mainly because I havent had the ime to take it for a long enough run yet to let the ecu do its stuff. |

| Yea, i was planning on tuning it up using VE to start off with and then when i get the wideband and/or dyno time rune it the old fashion way. My main concern is that the car remain reliable and ill worry about getting all the power out of it when i can afford to do so =] |

No problems with reliability for me so far. The main thing is that I only got about 200km from the first tank of fuel at first but its appears to have improved a lot now.
Obviously running far to rich at initialy.
I am on the second tank now and expect to get aboput 300km+ from that the way it is going.
Keep in mind that when the larger injectors were fitted and I started VE tuning that I spent some time at idle adjusting things chewing fuel up. |

Injectors are now in... I simply applied a liberal amount of cursing and knashing of teeth, plus a dummy spit or two and Voilą!
More to come tomorrow I'd say... it's beverage time |

Grant,
As I'm gonna fit my 300cc injectors (from Toyota Starlet GT Turbo EP82) in a few days (when they're coming back from cleaning), it would be nice for me to have your map as you're running on the same injectors, and I might be lacking the time to make my own map as I have a track day very soon too...
So, would you mind sending it to me or sharing it here ?

No worries I will email you an ECU file or two.
Its actualy set/running a bit rich at present mainly because I havent had time to do a proper tune yet but should be fine to get started with. |

Received - thanks Grant. I am currently up to by eyeballs in wiring following Don's visit yesterday. Hopefully will be able to fire it up at some point today!
