Fitted this while I had the gearbox out (the shiny new one not the old heavyweight one) The engine idled fine till it got to around 45 degrees then just died on me.

I found that I had to adjust the 'base idle' settings up by about %40, in the higher temp ranges, to get the car happily idling at 1000rpm again. still needs a bit of tweaking as it dies sometimes when the lights are on but it's getting there

What weight is the light one ? 3.7kg ?

I've bought a light one too, and I'm a bit concerned afterwards about it hurting daily drivability. How is it going on yours ?

2.9kg

Daily driving is ok, just need to be a bit more careful in traffic and make sure the engine has enough throttle. The hardest thing I'm finding to come to terms with is the SuzukSport clutch that went on at the same time - it's like an on/off switch!

Good thing about the flywheel.

I'm going to buy a SS clutch too, on/off clutch here I come !

Anyway, how is your new engine doing ? Are you still breaking it in ?
I want boost and 0-60 figures

Still breaking it in, I'm about 1/2 way there now, haven't had a chance to put many miles on it due to the problems with the gearbox

Engine feels good though - even restricted to 6500rpm and 0.9 bar it's a lot quicker than the Beat, saving me a fortune in fuel too

I doubt I'll get it running properly this year - the lambda sensor hasn't worked since I got the car back so setting up the fuelling is a problem till I get a new one (no money right now - the gearbox took the last of it) and I'm a bit reluctant to push the car on the old fuel map, although it's close enough for now.
