Ok, so before I empty my bank account on this stuff, can someone clever take a look at my list and tell me that I am buying the right gear?

ECU

I take it this is the correct loom?

Ignitor

Ingitor Plug

Three Bar MAP sensor

Plug for MAP sensor

TPS, is this the right one?

LC-1 Wideband 02 Sensor

So is this all I need, or have I missed out anything? I know that I could add a knock sensor but I was thinking of doing that another time.  Thanks!

All there and correct, apart from a socket to connect the loom to the existing ecu plug, unless you want to chop your loom apart (not a good move I think) I don't know where you'd get one from though - you could use one end of an extension harness or pull the socket out of an old standard ecu.

Thanks Don,

I already have a Cappo loom so no worries there.

Those are some good finds there, i've been having troubles trying to find a tps that looks good and cheap.

I recon ebay must hate my pc, i searched for the LC-1 and all i got was two places selling them one in latvia and the other in greece, i got the one from greece then realised when i opened it up that i didn't come with the bosch sensor.  So its going to cost more now

Well done Paulo you actually only need an ignitor to fit one to a cappo but with the gear you have bought it will tune up really well and quite easily.

All of that in bold in the original post are clickable links.  EFI-Parts are the only Adaptronic dealer in the UK.

Drop me a PM if you would like to be added to the ClubCappo Member Map.  More details can be found here.

The E420C is now superseded, however it is still supportted by Adaptronic. Most cappo's have the E420C.

There are 3 models now.
1 - E420D basic select ECU
2 - 440 universal select ECO
3 - E1280S super ECO.

The ECU program file that you use to program them is compatible with all of them and is free to download from Adaptronic. WARI V10 or higher.

You only need the E420D as it has more then enough options and functions for a cappo.
The other 2 are suited to more modern cars which interlink a lot more electronic systems nowdays.

It gets a little more expensive once you factor in the lambda, map and tps sensors.

But once you get it tuned it would be miles better than the N1's or N2's.

It all depends if you want to just go "Plug & Play" or leave things available for future upgrades and/or options to be fitted.
