I saw it before i found my one

It's in good shape, woodgrain interior, quite clean. Looks like it's had a respray, reason i didnt buy it was because he would not budge on the price, which was much higher than it is now

Pretty crazy to only have 18000 km though!
Personally i'd say it has gone around at least once,

180000 km for 1992 car,
its 2010, therefore
18000/18
1000km a year
approximately 83km a month..?

yea,
If he just drive it 83km per month
We should really worry about the condition than It ran 118000km

coz i am thinking to sell my cap and use those money to buy USD and earn some exchange rate
So need to look for another cap after I got the money back(if can sell mine one now)

Is it impossible to import one cap from japan now?
As I asked some importer, they said there is no compliance for cappuccino anymore in australia.
Is it true?

That is true the original compliance company went bankrupt and then the government changed the importing rules so therefore you can not bring them in anymore.

So personally I would hold on to it if you can afford too.

I was having this argument with someone on Redlinegti. No chance its original if it was where are the log books??? and also if it was a collectors car (given the fact its spent 8 years in Japan and then 10 years in oz) why is there an aftermarket air filter and why was it resprayed??? I would say its 118,000kms which is still very low for a 92 model car.

Check the rear wheel wells, i recall having a thought about them

Something on the body didn't line up

It's got to be 118 000, no logbooks either, which were originally in the ad description but then removed when i went to see it and asked to see them

New paint looks good though!

Mines a '92 and it's done more than 200,000 kms (that I know of - there is evidence of the speedo being wound back or replaced with a lower milaege unit) so this one may have gone around the clock more than once.  In a car of this age, mileage (unless accompanied by log books) is almost irrelevant.

So don't u guy think my 60000km 92 model is real or 160000km
The information of the car I know is:
Import in 1997
The importer sold to the 2nd owner in 1998
Then I bought the car from the second owner in Jan of 2010
the clock is 52xxxkm.
When I first inspect the car, the interior still got a fresh feel and the leather seat is still very soft
I just can sure before I buy the car
It's really be stored in a warehouse for a while as i found that The bottom of the car got some of web

I assume that like the other 92 cars, your odometer only has 5 digits
I.e. 99,999 is the highest before it resets
Without logbooks, it has certainly been around once (or more)
I know mine has, and the seats are still nice and soft, and the cabin is super clean
Just comes down to how it was treated

This is my point.  Taxis and police cars get sold while they are still quite new, but you couldn't give me one (unless it was a highway patrol V.  If, after 18 years, your car runs nicely, feels comfy and is still clean, mileage is just a number.

Hi, new Aussie Cappa owner here.
I checked out this car out a couple of months ago when he was asking stupid money (around $17k I recall). I drove well, but the seller claimed to know nothing about the car. Uprated turbo. The interor condition implies a lot more than the 12,500 kms stated. Something's not quite right with this one I reckon.

Hi guys and girls.
I just joint the club and also purchased that Cappuccino you guys are talking about it is the red one and stated it had 12,000km to 15,000km lol + 100,000km . And it was an Asian owner who claimed he did not know anything about the car. Anyways well yes he started at $17,000 or so I went and seen it and told him straight out it has nothing close to the km's he states showed him evidence of it. Body condition does not look like it or the interior etc but don't get me wrong its in great shape and interior when I clean it comes up like new I am very fussy.

He was trying his luck to get that price stating with none legitimate km's.

Anyways I offered him something ridiculous $11,000 from what he was asking at the time just to see what he would say. And close to 4 months later he dropped his price and I went down again with the cash and ended up getting him down to $8,500 and bought it.

I am aware though car had been resprayed. My brother is a panel beater/sprays car's and checked the car out with me. And also the back had been in a slight incident a car backed into it in a car park going really slow obviously so back bumper's colour's is different colour slightly.
And when the car was resprayed the bonnet looks as if it had not been put back on properly which isn't lining up but brother can fix when his free.

But overall car is great no problems. Thank fully
Gets as much looks as a Ferrari always people taking photo's and complimenting.

I bought the car as I wanted a turbo rear wheel drive and it is the only p plate legal besides the copen. And I wanted a fun different looking car.

Anyways sorry about all the ESSAY.

Silver Pulsar SSS 2000 Model

Silver Pulsar SSS 1994 Model
Gold Satria GTI 2001 Model

NOW ...... RED SUKUKI CAPPUCCINO 1992 MODEL WITH ONLY 18,000KM

SORRY ABOUT THE ESSAY GOT ABIT CARRIED AWAY

I don't recall saying anything about the turbo, but my memory only spans back to yesterday on any issue!

Whereabouts are you located? Mini meet up could be in order!

Besides the ones here on the board, i know of a red one in the north shore owned by an older gentleman - we waved at eachother once in the harbour tunnel haha - and the other is a candy purple one in north sydney also, does anyone know who owns this? Haven't seen it on the forum, but it has a big duckwing, and looks very cool.

Funny story - the night before i was going to inspect the one i bought, i was umming and arring with my girlfriend whether or not i should get a cappuccino. As we approached the lights, that purple one pulled up infront of us, and i took it as a sign!

The next day i bought mine, without a hint of hesitation

Would love to see it again!

Im from near Liverpool area. How about yourself?

When I bought mine went with my parents had no car to get there. They were deciding wether or not to let me get one due to the fact being so small. And we saw a Daihatsu Copen on the way and parents said hope its not that small other wise your not getting it but when dad saw it they liked it lol.

I wouldn't mind a meet? What do you guys get up to on meets?
Havnt ever done one before

Where in Liverpool are you located at? I only about 10mins for the city centre (towards Moorebank)

We normally go for a drive, grab a bite to eat talk some sh*t etc.

I will have to keep an eye out for you if you see a Cappuccino with a Gay coloured roof and stickers on the back window or a bright yellow IS 200 with black wheels and load of stickers on the back window that would be I!

Kayfour -  thats because you lot in Melbourne keep on buying our Caps =p

Hi zohaib.
Welcome to the forum.

I own a silver one with colour matched roof and wide wheels.
I'm from Penrith but travel to the liverpool area every now and then. I'm always keen for meets/cruises.

I also know of a red one with 2 white stripes at Glenbrook but unfortunately I only ever see it parked under a tarp beneath trees in the driveway.
I've also spotted what could be a limited edition capp on mulgoa rd penrith and a friend said he spotted the same one heading up the mountains one time.

Is it a black limited with its exhaust sticking through the rear bar? if so that has a F100 kit installed and has been to a couple of meets in the past.

Hey Caffienhit - Brian

I wouldn't mind a meet. Im from near liverpool as well.
I use to go to Penrith almost every day my ex use to live down that way.

My brother spotted a gold colour one at liverpool and the same one at campbelltown with colour matched rood panels. And said it might have had an after market intercooler and abit of work done to it. Is any one aware who is the owner.

I really want to know how much of a difference a f100 kit makes.
