That all, no mechanical or maybe slight body difference. I thought it would be more then just names due to the difference in sale volume, the cara just sold about  531 and the mazda az-1 sold more then 4000 of them

the only difference is that the Cara has fog lights (optional on the AZ-1) and a Suzuki badge, apart from that, absolutely no difference.

Suzuki designed it but then wanted to concentrate on the Cappo so Mazda took it over.  Suzuki then badged up a limited number of Caras which had only minor detail changes including front fog lights.

O ok thanks for the information, I recently received a message form the company that I am using to buy a cappuccino from Japan telling me that the cappuccino I wanted was recently sold, then they told me that they had a cara for sale, I ask what it was and they told me it was basically suzuki version of the az-1

If you are under 5' 10" and the price is good, go for it, there is only one other Cara in Europe"

The seller told me the total cost with shipping would be about 11k, I don't know how many of them are in the states but it will probably be very unique

As far as I know there is only one AZ-1 in the states, last seen in California, and no Cara's. Although there were around 4500 produced in total not many of them left Japan.
Definately pretty unique!!!

This is the only az-1 that I have heard about in the usa, (http://jalopnik.com/what-its-like-to-drive-the-only-autozam-az-1-in-americ-1663800815)
I have no idea how the owner was able to get it in the country, if you have any please feel free to share.

The one I knew of was red and came up on ebay.motors about 3 years ago. Sold to someone in California but I lost track of it then, I think it vanished into a collection!
