I have emailed a reputable manifold maker here in Oz and I can get a steampipe (mandrel bends) exhaust manifold - guaranteed against cracking - made for about A$700 if I get 6 or more.
Anyone interested? |

Yeah. Although I was considering making the turbo mounting plate a multi-fit. Any ideas? I was thinking Toyota CT-12 (I think it's the one from the starlet) |

I havent looked at the ct-12's, but IHI rhf4 seems to be quite a nice match. Only issue is you will need new injectors/ecu/ect to get it running decently... Not sure how that will work for a group buy. |

Any other turbo choices before I get flanges cut?
I will post to the UK. Postage from Australia seems to be cheaper than from anywhere else. |

Hitachi HT07 is a direct fit too. As long as the turbo position is in exactly the same as standard I'll be up for one of these. |

Check the exchange rate first guys, its not 2.5 aussies to the pound anymore.
More like 1.6 at best... makes it quite expensive. |

£420 for an exhaust manifold is expensive over there? Thats relatively cheap by Aussie standards. Im likely going to pay £800 for a manifold(including intercooler piping though). |

Time is not of the essence so you may be OK there I believe they will be coated but I will confirm that. |

had a look at some 6boost manifolds today - I like the way they merge all the header pipes directly on the turbo flage, it has to be the most efficiant way to do it! I'm very impressed with the look of their work - if I wasn't in on this already I would be now |

I'd probably be interested too (another for the UK). I already have a decat pipe and HT07 sitting on my desk so just need the manifold to complete the set |

As it turns out, that price does not include ceramic coating. Coating would be a $150-200 option |

I'm pretty sure the HT07 would benefit from a decent exhaust manifold. It doesn't spool up quite as quickly as the standard turbo (although when it gets going ) and better flow through the manifold should help.

I have an HT07-5 which is AR7 rather than AR9 for the HT07-4 (I believe) so should spool a little earlier. I just hope it's OK, it's not new but looks like it's been reconditioned (turbine & compressor blades look like they're brand new). I'm uncertain what condition the standard manifold is in and reckon it's probably worth replacing it with something unlikely to crack while I'm fitting the new turbo and decat. Is the ceramic coating option dependant on the number of orders, or could just some of us choose to get it? |

Hello,
Could be interested, but have some questions (probably stupid, I have no idea about exhaust manifolds):
1) What material will it be built of? Stainless steel?
2) What about the shipping costs? Do you already have an estimate? I have no idea of the weight of such an item. I'm in Belgium, so it shouldn't be very different from UK shipping price.
Thanks, Py |

Same here, I'd like to know what would the shipping costs be for France.
Maybe interested, and maybe ceramic coated too.

A standard manifold weighs 1.7(ish)Kg and I imagine these will weigh 2 - 2.5kg so postage to UK or France or Belgium works out at A$38.80 by sea. By air doubles the price!
Py - Thick walled mild steel mandrel bends. Guaranteed against cracking.

I'm pretty sure they were designed to be interchangeable as the B-series is superseded by the F series |

Matt, I advertised about this group buy on the french forum, and I might be interested in one.
Is there a deadline by the way ? And could you get the price for ceramic coating ?
Thank you very much. |

The way i see it, ball bearings cant be a bad thing But then again the cost of a rhf3 and rhf4 are close to the same... its simply too hard to choose lol! |
