Glad that I did a search first and found this. I have the same question. Things in life have changed for the better, but I'm not like most people who get emotional and do things on step at a time without thinking things through.
We've all seen countless projects stall due to a lack of planning.
So, anyone know the dimension of the F6a (which should be the same as the K6a) as well as the engine bay dimensions? |

My engine is tucked under a bench at the moment but... Gearbox mating face to front of timing cover is just under 400mm Sump plug to top of cam breather hump thing is about 600mm Mine has no manifolds on it at the moment so I get about 300mm wide.
The engine bay is full off crap at the moment "storage" but I'll clean it out and measure it on 26th or 27th. |

Hmmm, So a K10C should be an easy fit all the way to the Hayabusa V8 (well, maybe not so easy....but if left NA, the headers would be tight but should still fit). The G13b looks like a factory option.
I can't find M16a dimensions, but with some custom work, it can no question fit rather easy. I found a Monster SC19 on Yahoo Auctions a few years back that sold for $2200USD. Time to go shopping again. Hard to do while living in Vietnam..... |
