Once you have removed the cluster from the car it simply unclips allowing access to the dials.
There are pics in my rebuild thread but I might have some more too. Basically we had to drill a hole for the bulbholder of one of the lights to pass through into the boot.
I would have thought you would remove everything but I'm sure whoever is doing it has their own preferred method. |

For the calipers, it's best to remove everything from the main unit and stuff tissue paper in the holes to prevent crap getting in. It will make live so much easier when rebuilding if everything is clean from rust specially the lipped part that the piston boot fits onto. |

A decent powder coaters will mask and plug what needs doing. You will need to dismantle it all yourself though. Make no mistake, shot blasting will totally ruin a caliper if it goes in where the pot is. |

Anybody got any links to the clear side repeaters for the cappo ? Uk spec
Andy what are the bulbs for the rear led lights please? I've taken some pics of the lights and have another question lol the rear plastic caps with the three pre drilled holes, did you have to do anything else? Like bond it to the light? It's like a round cap. |

How about mortifying the front bumper
I want to cut the number plate holder out and fibreglass across. I'll bridge the gap across the cut out section and make sure it's nice n solid. I've seen it somewhere but can't think where
Behind
Front
And anyone got any links to some cheap reg plate holders? I want my plate in the side.

The bumper stays rigid enough if you just cut it out to be honest. |

Not sure if fibreglass will do a decent job, the bumpers a polypropylene / polyethylene material and I presume will act differently to the fibreglass when hot and cold. You could end up with constant cracks in the finished paint work and worse still failing to bond.
Found this site which gives a good approach to repairing materials like that with fibreglass, its worth giving a read.

I only had one bung on my DIY pipe, I assume that your two holes are lambda and heat sensor. |

Number plate, I cut away that holder as part of my first improvment to get more air in. Cant you have a glue on version, I noticed that you use that in UK. The one I have on my Capp, is very small and totaly ilegal in Sweden, carry the std plate in the trunk in case of I got stoped by the police, so far, 7 years, haven't got cought yet, almost got it trough the anual inspection, but an older guy pointed ot that I had to have a legal plate at next inspection. Yes it does. As Kei already said, the one near turbo is the lambda sensor and the other one is for the overheat sensor. |

Well it's just a fuse that melts when exhaust goes over a certain temperature, to warn that catalyst might get damaged, so I think you'd be ok without one if you can find a proper bolt to block it off.
Otherwise, you don't have the one that is in your standard catalyst ? |

Did you sell the one you had on ebay then? UK cars have no light for the thermo fuse on the dash anyway so they really aren't needed |

Andy have you got a pic of your rear leds mate as I was looking at the mod to fit them and do you have to cut the light on the inside of the body? I think you have to cut out extra for the black part of the light to go in
And kei what panels can I remove before I start messing with the strength if the car. Like can I take the quarters off ? Or would I need the car braced in some way? |

Pretty much every outer panel is cosmetic and not structural, you can remove them for a short time with no issues. |

Not sure I follow you. The only modification I needed to do was to drill a hole in the metal behind the light cluster as in the pics I linked to above.
These ones...
