I've applied to do a engine swap to the g13b swift gti engine and have come accross 2 limiting points in the drive train. One being the gearbox, for those who have done it before they say stock can handle up to about 190hp. I want to go beyond that. XD the guys with a busa engine use the hhayabusa gearbox which I'm thinking is not so easily compatable with the g13b. So just wondering what other options  there are that are known to work. Hope you guys can help me out here thanks.

Hp doesnt kill gearboxes, Torque does

Jimny box should fit on the end of the engine without an issue. Cant be sure it fits in the transmission tunnel though!

And if i remember correctly, the standard cappo gearbox is good for ~150 Nm of torque before it starts going out.

Making the G13 work with anything will likely be a custom job, so id suggest simply going about and measuring any rwd gearbox you can find

A guy on here has a G13 with a Jimny box with no reported issues so far. It'd be the way I'd go.

4wd cappo? That'd be cool. Anyone know if the jimny wheelbase/track width is the same as a cappo?

What year/model? Jimnies (?) have been released with g13, m13, f6a and k6a.

Jimny fits in kei class, so very similar width.  Wheelbase not important, just get correct driveshaft length..... or are you considering Cappo body on Jimny chassis?

Could you put a Cappo body on Jimny chassis and then just fit the F6a from the Cappo to make it turbo'd?

Is it that simple?

So the Jimmy box will fit upto the g13 without too many issues?
What about the gear selector positioning when fitted in a cappuccino?

You can utilise Cappo selector hardware, although if say they would be quite similar to the jimny (the shifter bushes are identical because I used them in my Cappa shifter housing)

you can get aftermarket gear sets for the cap that are stronger. i have one in mine and it handles 206nm of torque no problems. they are all close ratio gear sets though so they can be annoying for some people.
