Sorry to be asking for more recommendations, but though i'd best check with people who know rather than trust the likes of EuroCarParts and the like on what parts will fit and such!
Since my Cappo's been potentially sitting around doing nothing since late 2008 I've decided I'm going to get new disc's/pads all round, as well as tyres.
The tyres would be for the original OEM alloys. Ideally for the tyres a set that is good for all year round would suit me best. Was looking to see of Falken did the ZE914's for the original alloys but looks like they don't sadly. (Really impressed with them on my Civic Aerodeck!)
Thanks in advance for any answers! |

You can get the ZE914s in 185/60/14 which fit the standard alloys |

Ze914's are incredible tyres for the price. I stuck a set on my last mx-5 and was very, very impressed. |

Since getting the car finally (Been at the garage since April) had a good look at the tyres on at the moment and actually in good nick. Only problem is they deflate within 2 days. Still going to replace them, as well as get the alloys refurbished. Still aiming for the ZE914's!
Next up is the brakes, which I'm just going to get a full set of pads/disc's. Seen that I can get the EBC Green stuff pads in the correct size(well, there website says they do), but still looking around for both pads & disc's! |

I have Black Diamond discs and predators pads on all corners and I'm very pleased with the stopping power, on my car it was a huge improvement compared to the old and worn brakes.
I've bought them from DC Performance and directly from Black Diamond by mail. |

Just been pricing the Black Diamond parts and looks like I'll need to start working Saturdays! But I'll be worth it in the long run.
Hopefully get them all ordered once I've gotten new tyres, which i'll be seeing about this weekend as well as pricing how much it'll cost to refurbish the alloys! Planning on getting the wheels resprayed white at the same time as well. |

For a stock cappo, the green stuff pads and stock disc's would be more than fine with very limited fade and very slow wear. I run stock discs and pads on mine at the mo with 205 / 215 sticky tyres and for daily driving have no issues, they will still lock up under heavy breaking and get no fade at all.
The only things I would suggest to change would be upgrade the brake lines to braided and change your fluid to a silicone based one, the changing over to silicone on mine was so noticeable and gives excellent pedal feel. |

May just go with stock disc's and GreenStuff pads as works out alot cheaper!
Can't seem to find anywhere that sells stock rear disc's at the moment though, but quite a few sell the fronts. Likewise only seem to be limited on pads as well. But I'll work around, even if I have to buy bits from 3 different places!
Mentioning the brake lines, in the near future I will need to replace the pipes from front to back, so will maybe l get round to doing lines then at the same time!
I should really start making a list of everything that I plan on doing actually! haha |

Just found this set on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUZU.....;hash=item43b15d7bc1
Tempted to just get that for the rear and get something more fancy for the front. (got a similar set-up on my Civic just now). Do I need any special tools for winding the caliper back and such like?
Here's hoping to getting this all done soon!

I forgot how expensive the rears can be.
They look like blueprint, so I'd say go for it. |

They'll be fine for the rear, they don't do much work after all. You will find most piston rewind tools won't fit so I tend to use mole grips and padding. |

I seem to remember the 2 pin spanner thing for getting the discs on an angle grinder fitted perfectly as a piston rewind tool. I could be wrong, it may have been on the AZ-1 but worth a try if you've got one handy. |

Depending on the size it might be. The one that came with mine was too wide. |

I should have a tool to fit it somewhere, be it my toolbox at home or work! Decided i'm ordering the front's off Demon Tweeks and getting the rear Blue Print set off eBay that I posted.
Next up is the tyres, which I'll hopefully have an answer for by the month's end when I see about getting them refurbish. (Thinking of getting the alloys re-sparyed in white as well at the same time!) |
