Sadly, of the hundreds of forums where we promote our car insurance scheme, this forum is one of only three where not one person has even tried us for a quote since January 2013!
Why?!!!
On one forum, 86% of people who phoned us for an insurance quote took out a policy with us during that period!
My question is - why don't you give us a ring to try us out when their car insurance is due (especially considering we have a special scheme for the users of car forums for both non-modified & modified cars!)? This chap did from another forum & he posted this on Monday - Just insured with these guys. Top bloke and by far the best price and cover around, with all modifications current and PLANNED included. Very happy with the service and will be renewing with Prestige when the time comes. O, L.
Please tell me why?!!!

Haven't you stated before that your premiums start from £300? A lot of Cappo owners pay far less than that sadly. I did have one of my other cars with you but at renewal time your quote was £200 more than the one I went with. Insurance has got far more competitive recently. |
Drop me a PM if you would like to be added to the ClubCappo Member Map. More details can be found here. We now have an official Facebook group as well as a page! See here |

Its rubbish anyway, I approached these guys earlier this year to renew and the quote was up from the previous year plus when we modified it because I was no longer a carpenter and made redundant a sensible quote couldn't be found based on the fact that I was regarded a risk. Ridiculous when it was an S D & P policy with no commuting like the year before.
I ended up going to Adrian Flux who although couldn't provide the exact cover I wanted could provide an acceptable quote.
So in answer I suggest you update your systems better and stop taking the mick when it comes to peoples occasional use cherished cars.
Oh and I nearly forgot, weren't you the guys I approached in Nov 13 regarding a policy for a Mitsubishi GTO 3ltr non turbo and was refused because I quote "I hadn't had any recent experience with such a powerful car", funny cause I had no problem getting insurance for the 4ltr Audi A8 tank and general demolitions vehicle I ended up buying. I don't swear much on this site but i'll end with, and you can quote me on this "utter bullshit". |

I think I was the last person to call by the looks of the timing if what there saying is correct. And was quoted more than double what I had already been quoted. So hence why iv never bothered again. And kei hit the nail on the head with the occasional cherished side if things. I use mine once maybe twice a month and to pay 2-300 for less that 1500 miles a head isn't ecsvtly Great. Let's hope after this they can maybe come up with something that works and is reliably the same instead of being greedy like the rest of the usual insurance company's. |

Hi Andy I'm sure the minimum premium will maybe have a bearing.
As regards renewal premiums, we did change this to another team which had negative consequences! This is why we have a new manager & a new team which looks after all parts of the scheme
Maybe you could try us at next renewal?
Thanks for your comments everyone. |

Hey Tim,
This is my experience...
I was with you for one year ( at a cost of £39 until you failed to send me a reminder that my insurance was due.
Luckily I am well organised and did not end up with no insurance and so, after three phone calls ( this is after the ones on my documents led me to a dead phone line or a company who did not even have any knowledge of me or my car) I spent two hours on hold to be told your company would get back to me with a renewal quote. Two days later and, guess what, being left on hold for another forty minutes. I was informed the only person who could help was out of the office.
It is at this point I lost faith... Went back to Adrian Flux. However, after my final renewal date had come and gone a chap did call me who happily asked if I wanted to renew £95 more than I had been quoted.
I did, however, receive a letter one week later telling me I had no insurance. So you DID know who I was and a had a record of me!!! This was during this summer; 2014.
If you post messages asking questions you really should know the answer to, then you will get rants like this. Your company wasted LOTS of my time and caused me a lot of stress. All I wanted was a renewal quote!
You couldn't even get my no claims bonus facts correct. A big thanks for that!
My advice - my experience - and I am a patient man- stay away ALL cappuccino owners!

I contacted you for a quote a while back. I never heard back from you. Why on earth would I want to try you again? |

Hi Thanks for the feedback. I do appreciate it and there were quite a few issues highlighted above under the old regime.
This is why we made radical changes bringing in a new manager, a new team & having a separate department for Prestige.
Already, we have more than doubled our renewal retention for August compared to July so things are looking good.
Sorry you have experienced these difficulties in the past. Based on the messages I receive now, things are more than favourable. |
