Had a crash on Monday going round a roundabout came off the exit the rear stepped out to the left caught it then threw me to the right,mounted the kerb smashed tough a fence panel then a wooden fence post very lucky no one else invovled and i only had a bruised elbow gutted

ouch... sorry to hear that .

If it makes you feel any better, I did the exact same thing a few years back coming off a roundabout in the wet, had to replace the front quarter, door and rear quarter on the cap.

  sad to see that but as long as your fine you could always fix or sart over  and i could have been worse .    my swift had the same outcome

Sorry to see this! Bruised elbow is pretty good considering every time I drivr mind I'm worried about being crushed by a truck! Potentially not too bad with s few new body panels depending structural damage?

Thanks for the kind words everybody,i think its a write off  the intercooler and radiator have a large v in them drivers side wing is crushed so see what the insurance people have to say

wow looks a lot of damage but if its only panels and the car is a solid one is it not better to buy secondhand panels and repair it im sure you could get that lot for less than £500

there is no doubt that any insurance co will write it off if you claim

main thing is you walked away to tell the tale

If it helps I almost slid out doing 2 miles an hour turning into morrisons petrol station.

If it is written off can i bagsy all rubber seals, plastic door trims, washer jet, rear parts of the sills and the inner arches also if it has an N1 computer id buy it off you

Wounded though man...
