Has anyone ever taken apart the top rear red brake light appart? Mine is not working and it's MOT is due Iv no idea how it comes appart to see why it's not working? Does anyone else? |

It's not a brake light it's a reflector. The working brake lights were taken out when the UK cars came into the country as they were considered a danger to other road users
It is possible to split the plastic though and fit a row of LEDs if you want though. |

Oh ok! Well that's awkward! Hahahah mine was covered in black tape so I presumed it was a brake light someone couldn't fix because it was a bummer of a job so covered it for its MOt! I shall let my MOt tester no incase he fails it for that! Thanks Andy that's a load off! I'm glad I didn't start taking it fully appart hahaha |

Could have possibly just been disconnected and the lights are still there. there is a plug in connector behind it under the black surround you could check. |
