Hello people... I've just joint on here

Back in 2006 i use to own a nice genuine cappo sport with suzuki sport gold and silver wheels, it was a gold car which i resprayed black. i added a few nice extra bits from Danny Gagnon's, cappo sports online store(which sadly does not exist anymore) Was a stunning car and checking online with dvla its still on the road... which is nice

Apologies as i don't want to upset or ofend anyone, but I'm trying to track down Danny Gagnon's, Black Wide Arch cappo with the wide Image rims. just luv that look... or a car with exact same look.

I've done a lot of research on this forum and have found 3 cars of the exact same spec:

1) Danny Gagnon original show car - he owned the online cappo parts shop
2) irishgtxx - pics of his car can be found under 'cappo related album'
3) bob_g - pics of his car can be found under 'rising sun show 2008'

Also when irishgtxx posted pics of his car on here in 2010, someone mentioned/posted that there was an exact same spec car in north london....anyone know this car?

its been a long time since the above members have posted so not sure if they even exist anymore, If anyone knows anything about these cars or has any info, or could put me in contact with the owners, it would be very helpful, i totally understand if they don't want to sell, but maybe they do and I would make them a good offer.

Many thanks for taking the time to read my post

There are still 2 cappo sport show cars about, neither of them were owned by dany though, both were customers cars.  Still owned by the original owners, one in south London (not a member) and George's KKITP show winning car.

There are a couple more wide bodied ones about with varying kits but only one other with the same type of door (mine).

Thank you Kei

I've seen George's car in the gallery section and its a lovely car!.. but its not black and a different design of image rims, also his arches are moulded into to the body, i much prefer the stuck on look, not to keen on lambo scissors ether. lucky its not the same spec as what I'm after, as seeing it was used in his wedding pics! he would never sell her haha

i need to find that south london car if its the same wheels and kit as danys car and irishgtxx.

oh cool so you have a wide body car then, i must of missed that looking through the forum.

sorry kei i don't know what you mean by "same type of door" was there some sort of bodywork thats on the door or something...??

The true cappo sports pin up cars came with the scissor doors of which only two were finished and I had my shell prior to rebuild fitted with them by there mechanic, pretty much all company lit had George's car as the main pin up.  Have you a pic of Dany's car did it perhaps have the take off body kit? I think that was irishgt's kit if so I think I might know where it went.

Is this the sort of thing you like?

irishgtxx bought Bob's car so those are the same car.

If I remember rightly chow_cappa sold to Chris Hodgetts (yes that Chris Hodgetts - Google if you are unfamiliar ) which Bob then bought then sold on to irishgtxx...

Yes that's the car Andy! thank you. I luv the kit on it, it's subtle but not.
Looks like you have the same front bumper and side skirts on your car Andy (looking at your avatar pic)
Just checked that plate online with dvla. no tax but does have mot, so maybe it's still around somewhere.

Oh I see bobs car is irish dudes car, well at least we're getting somewhere,...Chris hodgetts that is cool

I personally spoke to Danny and saw his car in the flesh back at JAE2006 me and my father loved it. We spent couple hours chatting with him. And within a month I brought my own cappo as I mention above. Danny's car at the time had the standard normal opening doors when I saw it...so maybe he changed them at a later date.

Kei I would so luv to know "were it went" ....
Yes I do like that wide body car pic, is that your car very nice!
personally for me now I'm getting a boring old fart, I want a smoother bonnet and less aggressive front bumper and to lose the big rear wing. I use to be seriously into drifting and have owned many different drift cars, all with mental crazy big rear spoilers and front bumpers. So for me I've been there and done it type of thing.

Ps... Kei if you know we're this car went your talking about and I end up at a jap show with a cappo, trust me I'll be buying you all the hot dogs in the world you want that day lol

I think its pretty safe to say that car no longer exists.  If we ever meet up I could probably give a little more info but I think the garage that had it, disposed of it eventually after sitting for too long and gathering worm.  That is unless he had 2 identical ones.

Oooh nooo that's such a shame!..... old jap cars are all the same, awesome mechanics and design, but terrible rust issues.

Not sure were you live Kei... I'm in Hertfordshire, but if your going to a show not to far from me, I'll pop by for a chat and to see your cool little beast.

Gentleman from Bushey?

I'm located in North Herts, in the summer we've got a Modified and classic meet here where myself and hopefully Joe will be turning up and waving the club cappo flag.

Cool your 30 mins down the road from me in Royston.

And you have an NSeX, we have to meet at some point, once the cappo's back on the road and we get better weather.  We have a monthly meet of RMCC here which when the suns out can be a really good evening but not many unique classic's, modified and classic show I mentioned is linked with them.

Which of the Royston Modified groups is it?  It said in his post that he would invite you onto a page and that you must be on that page to attend, hence why I have been waiting.

Shared a link on FB to the main page.  Once on there, there should be an advert for the show.
