Hi Guys

I'm trawling through threads gathering info and just thought id ask the experts. I have an Alto Works with the k6a on its way from Japan and I'm keen to learn more about potential upgrades.

From what I understand, some Cappo parts fit but the ECU isn't the same (makes sense).

Any advice on the basics that I should be looking into?

Of course the car will be serviced and checked on arrival but to start I was thinking the following to begin:

1. New plugs
2. Mild boost control
3. New filter
4. Decat (if it has one)

I think it has a decent exhaust by the looks of the pictures.

Maybe I'm best going aftermarket ECU instead of boost control etc?

Sorry guys, not a Cappo owner but few places have the knowledge on these

Any advice appreciated

Thanks for that, but from what Ive read (might not be 100%) the N1 acu isn't compatible with the Alto

For some reason the N1 is not listed for your model but is for the previous one which also had the K6A engine.  I did think the only difference between the Cappo and Alto ECUs was the case but it's a simple job to swap the internals over.  I'm sure we've seen people swap them over like that on the F6As...

Thanks Andy

Is the N1 only available from Monster Sport or do you have any advice of other places to buy?

I assume something like e-manage would gain similar results to the N1?

If you know what you're doing, or have someone that does, a standalone unit and Coil On Plug will give much better tuning options. It's a case of budget & future plans really.

Yeah, I'll wait till the car arrives but I have spoken with my usual garage (they are rebuilding my r32 skyline). Good guys, so once here I'll look at options.

I used E-manage before and found that fine, so might go that route
