Thanks, yes, it is me. I must admit I do get a lot of practise which helps. I've got another event tonight which will be my 8th event in the last 3 weeks.
Most of the events I do are grass surface which is much kinder to the car, but that one was multi venue, multi surface, at four different farms, with a combination of tarmac, concrete and gravel courses.
The cappuccino is great at it, and I always p!ss all over MX-5s If anyone fancies a go at it, just google for your local motor club. Events are about £15 entry, making it the cheapest motorsport out there, but still loads of fun! |

Nice, I also love to go between cones with mine. We have some slalom race here in my town held 4 times a year with a similar entry fee.
The problem is the stock suspension and the lack of the lsd, and first I have to manage all the rust issue and then find some locking diff and suspension elements to have a better handling.
Hope you performed well today |

Yes, stock suspension is too soft for tarmac but works well for the grass stuff I do. I'm on KYBs at the moment which are also soft. Good coilovers would make a huge difference on tarmac.
I've got a cusco type RS (mild) LSD that I'm about to fit, but I'm a bit worried that it might make turn-in worse, and give it a bit of push-on understeer. Will wait and see! |
