Hi cappo guru's , bought a cappo recently with 21000 miles on her , im second owner in uk. it was imported in 1999 and first registered in 1992, still has all the japanese service book etc etc
just wondering if anyone can give me history on importing these and any other factual info .
its clocks are in mpg, any other mods that would have been needed for import. CHASSIS NUMBER IS EA11R108222
she is a wee gem btw, never been undersealed but still sound as they come in A1 ALL OVER
any recommendations for sealing the underside without ruining her ?

When I bought my 15,000 mile UK example 3 years ago I had the underside and under the carpets painted in cordoba red two pack then lots of waxoyl. Since it is a daily drive doing 12,000 a year I was keen on good protection but I am not going for absolute mint condition! I know various people have suggested use of POR 15 or similar but this seems more suited to something that had started to deteriorate rather than working on a good base.
