This summer has changed my thinking regarding the potential of electric motors. Leaf motors in Japan are on Yahoo Auctions for less that $1700 and when you look at this cost plus batteries, the cost to a built F6 engine is still comparable for far more torque with the electric. |

Still following, but no updates. Seems like a hell of a cracking idea if the amount of batteries and location can get sorted. |
