The dust cover on the rear disc brake has rusted and broken off. If I can get a replacement, how do I remove the wheel hub and access the remains of the dust cover? |

I always just leave them off when they do that on any car. |

Hi I have ordered a dust cover from Levois, as a neighbour suggested that it was required for the MOT. So, any help and advice on replacing the cover would be greatly appreciated, or I will have to pay exorbitant garage labour charges. Thanks. |

The hubs have to come off to install them. Complete pain in the a*se and certainly not required for the MOT. The problem is damage you could do to the wheel bearings that then mean they need pressing out and new ones putting in... |

Hi Andy Thanks for the reply. As the cover is not required for the MOT, best "let sleeping dogs lie", and not disturb the wheel bearing. |

That would be my thoughts too. Put it into storage for if the bearing needs doing. |
