I've been lusting after a G13B engine, but have not found one since 2018 where I lost the auction. So, I gave up on a G13b.

Then, I rotated between fantasies on Yahoo Japan Auctions of a H27a swap or Hayabusa V8 swap or J24b or returning more toward the real world....a M16 swap or more preferably any used Toda engine or Monster M16/M18/M19 engine swap (and still hover here) or just going with a K14 turbo swap as these engines are finally getting to be more common.

200hp max hp seems reasonable/controllable/livable for a touge Cappuccino and the desire to keep up with Mozber has long since faded because reality always wins.

Then, I see this near my hometown:
Suzuki Cappuccino with a Turbo 2.4L Ecotec at Engine Swap Depot
https://engineswapdepot.com/?p=62581

600hp is for bragging rights as the best this car will do is drag racing or highway pulls if it can maintain traction. Not hate - just an observation, but if these are the purposes then hoo-wah!

The fabrication is far more than I'd care to invest in, so in some ways..I am happy to see that a H27 or J24 swap would require far more fabrication than I'd care to involve myself in. A M16/K14 swap do seem the most realistically doable. Glad a bonkers car like this exists.

After all said and done, I bet his costs will still be cheaper than what Monster would charge any customer to make a 100hp Cappuccino!!!!

I'm following on Instagram too, and I'm so interested in seeing what has to be done to fit an engine that size. I still shop in Japan for a G13 engine, but the last one I can recall seeing was in 2018 and I lost that auction. Now, it seems like the K14C is the more reasonable choice because going larger than a M16 block is going to take intense fabrication work.

Of course, with Covid-19 shutting down so much, won't matter because travel restrictions mean that I may not even make it back to Japan in 2021 too! :- (
