TOY42U - good to hear your keeping the cappa, just wondering do you still have your swift, as i saw it a couple of weeks ago on Elizabeth Drive.
Sneaza - Awesome some one actually spotted me lol.
I think everyone has the same feeling here...no chance of any of us selling it. I know my car is to small for my job, but im just gonna save up for a daily and im hoping by the time i can afford the daily i can afford to do some serious mods with the cappa....hopefully! |

SILVER one in Grantham gone 7pm this evening going along towards the A52 East bound on London Rd being towed by a camper van (LHD?) thing being driven by an older couple.
Quickly tapped on the window and said hello before the lights changed.

We were at Knockhill yesterday testing the Mini.. Jeez it was cold..
There was also a track day going on and I was standing on the pit wall when my wife shouted "look .... A Cappo!"
Sure enough in between the Evos and Imprezas and the odd Elise there was this red Cappo looking ever so small but happily hurtling around in the damp and on a very slippery track cos some idiot had been dropping oil everywhere.
Tracked it down when it came in and it even lives in Aberdeen! Owner bought it from someone in Kent, it's done about 40k, has a wood rim steering wheel and a very snazzy gear knob... Driver's side roof panel is quite crumpled cos it flew off one day and there's a bit of rust around the rear wheel arch but otherwise she was all very tidy.
Given him this website address so hopefully he'll turn up here one day.

It would have been easy to know it was me, cos I would have been out there minus doors, bumpers, wing mirrors, roof etc etc. Car is still in Ecosse peugeot for it's respray. I really fancy a track day, the only thing that puts me off are the other people on the track! Did many a track day on my motorbikes and once was on Knockhill with a guy (who turned out to be Italian!) on a Hayabusa who thought the quickest way to get around the circuit was to literally drive around constantly on the inside line!! Bloody dangerous as he was quick on the straights but absolutely crap in the corners and as most people in our group were on 600s etc he caused mayhem as he caught up and then proceeded to overtake on the inside, then lose it and so on for about 10 laps until he got hauled off.
Needless to say he was taken to one side, then taken out in a fiesta by one of the instuctors and shown the right lines. He still managed to come off 3 times though, once in a big way into the gravel at the end of the straight! The thing was that he looked upon the damage to his bike and to his leathers, helmet etc as 'all part of the fun'! His girlfriend was even videoing him!

And although its not another capp, a guy at my office (out of about 100 people) drives a honda beat. I often park next to him to make him jealous. |

I've seen two in the last week !
I saw a Red one last Saturday morning, twice in fact, I was doing a dump run in the wifes car, and it went the other way, up the Lower Farnham road in Aldershot, and when I came back from the dump, it came back down the Lower Farnham road.
I had assumed it was the one which parks about 2 miles from my house, on the A31 just west of Farnham, but when I went past that one yesterday, I realised the number plate was different. This one is owned by a Suzuki fan, beacuse she used to own a Swift, and before that she had a white SC100.
So if you own a Red one with the number plate M711 something, /wave.

Red Cappo @ 1.40 today on Aerodrome Road, Mroochydore. I think it must be a UK import as it had a fog light. |
