I found a seller here in the Netherlands who's selling National Sports clutch kits for the cappo. He's getting rid of (old) stock. He still has some left and is selling them for ¤75,- a piece. Or even less if you buy more..
In my mind that is pretty cheap. Now I'd like to know if this is a real bargain or can you get them at fairly the same price anywhere else? |

Clutch kit? Does that include pressure plate, clutch disc and bearing?
If yes, put me in for one. |

Yes:
"Nieuwe National Sports koppelingset voor Suzuki Cappuccino . artikelnr NCK 923 Set bestaat uit Drukgroep, Koppelingsplaat en druklager."
Which translates to what you just said. Original price (in Holland) is ¤260,-
Seller has 9 left. Koos wants one, me too. I'd be happy to get one for you too. Don't know about shipping though, but I imagine costs won't be super high.. |

Hi Ezra,
Is "National sports" a known good brand for clutches? I must admit I have no idea at all about this market and its players, well apart from Sachs
I'm in Belgium, would you agree to get one for me and send it?
In any case thanks for the hint about this deal! |

Had some more contact with the seller. It's the importer of national sports here in Holland.
He has 9 kits left and for a all in one buy he wants to sell them for 50,- (or 75 a piece)
The kits are remanufactured. Which means the metal part is re-used. All the other parts are new.
I'm happy to act as a middle man here for anyone who wants a kit. But I can't promise anything when it comes to quality etc. Because I'm not the seller, nor have I had a national sports clutch before.
All I know is that national sports do a lot of clutch and brake parts. Also, part of the resellers of national sports here in Holland are well known tuning shops.
So decide for yourself if you want a kit. I'm going to buy a kit for myself and Koos for certain, so theres room for (7) more |

Hi Ezra,
Got your email - thank you!
If we can find enough interested parties to buy them all, and as such get them for 50¤ each, count me in for 2 kits (so it would mean 5 more to sell - mac81 are you in?).
In case there is not enough interest, and the price stays at 75¤, then I'll just take one of them, not two.

I pm'ed Mac81 earlier today. So he'll respond when he reads it I guess..
Don't know if we can get another 5 people. But 75 isn't a bad price either! |

Do you physically want to have it in your hands or is a picture enough?
Because they're located in Uithoorn, you'd have to go there if you want to see one. Or check out one of ours when we bought one. But that kinda defeats the purpose of having a groupbuy. |

Sure 75¤ is not a bad price! But as I only actually need one, 75¤ for one piece vs 100¤ for 2 pieces is better than 150¤ for 2. Second one being a spare, ready on my shelf. Well, despite the lack of clarity of this message, perhaps you still see what I mean . I own 2 cappuccinos, but only one needs a new clutch atm. |

I understand what you mean
The one I'm buying is also for spares. Don't need one now, but when I do I'll have one ready to go. |

I just checked postage prices btw. Don't know what the kit will weigh but here are the prices:
To UK, Belgium, rest of EU: 5 - 10 kg ¤ 25,20 10 - 20 kg ¤ 34,10
To Greece seems to be a little more: 5-10 kg ¤ 31,20 10-20kg ¤ 41,30 |

If they use the old bit's like the diafragma and the other springs it's crap. The inner springs of the clutch must not have sideways tolerance and the diaframa could be damaged by the old release bearing . If you have sideways tolerance on the inner springs you get shocks when you release the clutch when youre driving. |

Well, it seems the Dutch cappo club beat us to it. I contacted the seller this morning to order all sets when he said he just sold them all..
So that's too bad! (Also too bad I'm not a member of the Dutch club :p ) |

Yes there is. From what I hear it's a bit of a oldtimer club. (The oldtimers being the owners..)
But I've never been to a meeting so I can't really say anything for myself. I think I will though, in the summer! |
