Well I have to fess up.  It's been over 6 years since I posted and for good reason.  I bought a RHD MGF from Oxford England three years ago.  I had seen one in Greece in 2003 and liked them, and then I bought one on Ebay and had it shipped over. It was really cheap...less than $800 Canadian, so it was pretty hard to resist. I had it shipped  to Halifax. I flew down and drove it home in November of all months. It's been a fun car and I've been learning all the special bits about it.  It's mid engine so handling is awesome and it has very tall gearing so it's not fast but gets over 50 mpg.  There are about 25 in Canada.  There is also a modern MG Rover club which shares information.

I see Harwoodr's car in my neighbourhood from time to time, and it's nice. I still haven't sat in one!  But I hope to change that.  Importing was not as hard as I thought it would be and I'm happy to give advice or guidance to anyone who needs it.
