Holy Carp - has anyone tried to find tires/rims for a Cappy in Canada? I need help - 'cause the local shops either think I have the numbers wrong or I'm insane. |

have you tried tirewarehouse.com? are you looking all seasons, winter, summer low pros?
are your fender archs flared, I know some tire/wheel combo's require a fender roll.
on my cappo I have: Front: Authentic RS Watanabe type B 14x6.5 Rear: Authentic RS Watanabe type A 14x7
riding on Toyo proxes T1R 195/45/14 |

Apparently, yes. On bad days I'll drive my wife's CRV - she works from home primarily. |

there is a cappo i looked at in toronto ...dark green and for sale .... the back panels were rusted .... owned by a lady and she drove it last winter ... you're going to get rust .... the steel components of the cappo are thin .... just ask the uk guys about rust.
also this car is light and rear wheel drive .... even on light snow days or wet and cold you will get wheel spin and control becomes a problem ....
don't drive it .... cover it over and park it for the 4 months of winter's worst is my advice ....
there is no joy in driving in the winter.

I drive 7km to work... Most of the way is bus route.. And I got rust protection done at krown. A guy who works for me drives his miata all winter long too.
Beyond that, it's a done deal - so consider it an experiment that you don't have to pay for. |

I'm still waiting for snow - the entire area around where I live got hit... but not mine.
My wife jokes that it's because I bought winter tires and gas for our snowblower... |
