I've been helping the guy I bought my cappo from with his website:

http://www.bonsairides.com

...and he's bringing in a container load of JDM cars roughly every month...

He's also taking "orders" - so if anyone needs a cappo in Canada, he figures it's about $10k on the road - depending on the year/features/etc.

I have to say, some of the ones he shows me are... out there...

Oh, yeah, if anyone's interested and has space to store - he can get wrecks for about $2-$3k.  I'd get one but I think my neighbours wouldn't like to see it on my front lawn on cinder blocks...

Here's a link to some of the auction sheets he's sent me (he speaks and reads Japanese - so this all makes sense to him... also means he doesn't need an agent on the other end):

...that includes a non-runner and a wreck...

Cool. Thanks for the info. This fellow seems much better and together than the other Canadian importers I have run into.
Thanks,

Yeah that is a Really cool body kit on the AZ-1. I wonder where the kit itself comes from. The only kit I've ever found was the ricerocket kit. Which looks fine too but this one here is my favourite.

Reference the kit here is http://www.blacknova.net/cappos/az1.png

Could be a one-off, I've never seen another one like it - nice though

Both wings, the side skirts and the door panels, that's a lot of work! I wonder if they kept the moulds...

The white az-1 looks like it has a bodykit from ritmo, although the rear wing looks like one from Madhouse. The plastic roof panels look like the ones from autogiano.

Ritmo's website is here: http://www.ritmo-1971.com/ Check out the gunmetal grey one!

Yes, you can buy the kit, but it costs 550k yen. Now where's my lottery ticket?
