Hi Steve - depends what you want really.....I had a complete powerflow stainless system made from my de-cat all the way back....it was done by exhaust uk in sheffield who are really good and know what they are doing, I told them what and how I wanted it to be and they made it up in a few hours.  I think it cost around £300 to £350 for the full system with a lifetime gaurentee!!

Hi steve - I had the de-cat made at Exhaust UK, in terms of noticeing any difference.....it was part of the rebuild of my engine which runs larger injectors, Hybrid turbo and ECU mapped to the turbo amongst a few other things....so its hard to say just about the de-cat itself, i felt that I did'nt need a Cat (on my cappo Jap import 1994) for the MOT so I figured why not as I was led to believe the set up I was running would benefit from a de-cat.....not sure that helps?

Definately....just changed my manifold and trust me you may aswell de-cat the car while the exhaust is off....the bolts on the Cat to the Turbo are a B**tard to get free....I recommend heating with a blow torch to loosen them off - not easy!! Good luck with the build mate.
