After requesting a trip out to a track we've organised a trip to Curborough sprint track.
Who: 5 People
When: 27th August 2009
Where: Curborough sprint track
As well as having time on the track also included would be:
* A medic,
* Rescue / tow vehicle,
* Marshals,
* Insured motorsport photographer and all the pictures from the day on CD / online
* Free soft drinks for the drivers.
* 6 hours track time (in total for everyone)
* Plus hopefully a BBQ
All for the price of £70 per car on track!
We have 3 confirmed people, and I think one possible, but we need at least one more confirmed person. If there is more interest I might be able to secure some more spaces!

We need 1 more person to confirm on this - the organisers are starting to ask for the money - there must be one more person out there wants to give their pride and joy a good run on a track???
( as a bonus. as I've already said on KKITP, the quickest Kei car driver of the day can have a run in my AZ-1, if they fancy it )

Any info on who's putting the event on and the total amount of cars attending?
Now that the cars ready ish i'm looking at trackdays again although the next cheap ones coming up aren't till december.
That sprint tracklooks damn narrow  |

| It is narrow and with a lot of bends but that's sprint racing for you. Its very addictive once you have posted your first time you are constantly trying to improve ether by changing things on the car or by the way you attack the track. |

Done a few track days in my other car but a sprint in a Cappo sounds like loads more fun  |

I forgot to post in here after the day, a funtime was had by all  . I haven't got any decent pics but there's a few, and some vids, on http://keikarsinthepark.co.uk.
Tom, from doughnutters, who organised the day is planning a day at Mallory Park in November. I'll definately be there, Mallory will suit the AZ-1 much better than Curborough. Once the date is confirmrd I'll post up the details. |
