Nice venue, great track, excellent viewing spots, nice views out to sea, nice cafe, nice people and hopefully some great racing. What's not to like?

The headwind crippled my speed along the bottom 'straight' and when the drizzle fell towards the end of the race I lost exit speed from 'Church' corner onto the straight which meant Simon had much greater speed down the straight and got by me.
I might have got the place back going down the corkscrew but I lost the rear a bit under braking in the left-hander so I couldn't park it on the apex to get the place back.
Oh well, I did my best. |
