These have to be the most annoying type of clip ever and yet so clever too. No real tools are needed for these clips which is where the clever bit comes in. All you need to do is to push the centre spigot a couple of mm in. You should hear a click as you do this. Push it too hard though and the spigot will come out of the other side and be lost forever inside the panel!
The ignition key is useful for this job as it doesn't let you push the spigot too far in. You could also fashion a removal tool from a thin piece of wire or wood. Wrap some tape around at the appropriate distance from the end to prevent the tool being able to push the spigot too far. |
