Here, i did mine not the best painting place and the paint gun was like 18¤ piece of crap but it works for this kinda stuff

First i got the wheel machine and etc on work, so i can remove rubbers, weights etc myself, but local wheel shop would take 10¤ for 4 rubber remove so

http://imgur.com/a/KQby0

Cleaning, wheel acid any kinda goes, i used the coarse oven cleaner cloth to rub the crap out of them.
then Grease remover wash 2 times.
Then the brass brush on drill ( i am lazy ) cost 2¤ + 3 batterylifes on the drill

nicks and scratches saw little dremell with sanding to smooth them out
Then brake cleaner and acid wash at end to clean before painting.

The paint "box" was our workshops Toilet 1M X 1.2M box and just a lid over the toiled where the rims where

It took 15-30 min the paint to dry so that the dust does not stick on it anymore, but the final drying time was days so needed to leave them to dry on the little storage in the toilet.
After every paint, i show little sandpaper to smooth the surface and remove any unwanted marks from them. And it took me an hour after painting before i could even drive ITS GOOD STUFF

Paint gun 18¤ from local store
acid primer 8¤ can
Second primer 30¤/1L can(used 0.3L of it) can be used for anykind metal to prevent corrosion (needed 4 days to dry)
Primary paint, dont know the brand or price, got it from friend who works on Shipyard (2 combound)
But you need about 0.5L of it and costs about 30¤ if you can get your hands on it, needs 3 days to dry too

These wheels should take the beating now for while, in theory, i could hit it with hammer and the paint should stay on still, but i dont want to try that
