Just thought I'd put up this simple DIY:
Like most Capp owners, the first thing I did was pull the plug on the annoying buzzer under the dash the alerts you the keys are in the ignition. Unfortunatly doing so also disables the buzzer telling you that your lights are still on. This is a function i find very helpful as i tend to forget ;D
So how do you just disable just the key alert? Easy. Simply remove the White with Red trace wire fom the plug that corresponds with the pin marked in the picture. Don't forget to insulate the terminal at the end of the wire. Sorry about the photo quality.

Sounds like the previous owner of your car got really fed up with all the numpty alarms :D Does the alarm to tell you you haven't locked the rear window in place still work?

The rear window buzzer always worked.
I've fixed the keys in, door open buzzer, by cleaning the door open switch, and as a bonus the interior light works on the drivers door now (thumbsup), and I found an immobilizer-disabling switch I never knew I had, which is nice.
But the lights on buzzer still doesn't work, how many wires should be in that plug ? as there is one spare hole on mine.
Also where can I find a full wiring diagram to work out which coloured wire I should be looking for ?

I find the diagrams in the manual easier to follow more often than not but there is the large full wiring diagram too.
PM on way.

According to the wiring diagram there should be 5 wires, and mine has 5 wires, so I took off the stering column surround, and there was a wire removed from the big 30 wire plug on the stering column.
I repaired that, and Hey Presto the light buzzer works ! /phew.
No more flat batteries for me.

You forgot about the other alarm buzzers - the "WTF are you?" and "Get home your dinner is in the oven" buzzers.
Sorted that without so much as going near either a Cappo or my mobile phone, he he he, by removing the source (dance)

Hey where can I find this plug? I unscrewed the covers under the steering wheel but I cant find it amongst the multiple dozens of various coloured plugs and wires... can someone take a photo with something that is from an obviously identifiable angle? thanks ^^" My caps a bit messy there with the assisted power steering, imobilser and hands free phone pic up mic + the many fuse wires that are housed there...

I haven't been under the dashboard for a while, but from memory the little module is somewhere above the speaker/accel pedal area with the power window breakers etc...
