sounds good soldave, Im not here to tread on any ones toes. So Im not out to nick any customers, but if people are having a hard time sourcing stuff its what I do so might be of some help
my cappo is getting there. Suzuki sports gauges all in, as is the 330mm nardi, got my 13 x 8s and starting to polish them up, fitting a triple puck clutch and lightened flywheel but stuck half way through waiting on a spigot bearing I didnt figure I would need... fair bit of gaurd work and suspension work to get it sitting how I like. Got some vitaloni fender mirrors. Hoping it will turn out looking pretty mean.
You got a alto works! was seriously considering one of them and even bid on a couple but all kept going for similar prices to the cappuccinos and I prefer FR.

Alto Works is my daily driver and I just got hold of an Evo III I need to rebuild and that's my project.
And one thing you definitely have over me is access to Yahoo Auctions Japan so kudos to you for that. Your Cappuccino sounds pretty sweet to be honest. So where in Japan are you based? |

Cappuccino is just a toy for me to build and have fun in. The s13 got too far gone and unless its on a track being driven in fury its really not much fun to be in at all. So cappuccino is strictly for street and must remain semi nice to drive.
Im in Osaka.
Shouldnt be too hard to setup a yahoo account? if you are really stuck I can setup an account for you? I already have about 40 customer accounts.

I've set up the basic one, and without one of the banks they specify is was a swine sorting out payment. Guess my eyes are too round to be trusted with a credit card for the premium account access too |

I can set you up with a premium account if you like. its 346 yen a month, so sorting out payment for it etc might be a bit of a pain every month but if you are really keen can help you out with that.
also unless your japanese is pretty good corresponding with the sellers might be stressful. I can organise all the shipping/payments etc but would have to charge commission on each item if Im doing that.

Yeah, my Nihonglish is fine - been out here almost 7 years now. Don't feel the need to use it so much though. Have survived without it for so long; am sure my bank balance couldn't cope with having it anyway!

how do you find the 330mm nardi? i've been looking for one, but im worried it might cover up the section of the speedo with the numbers - aka the important bit! |

havent been able to drive it yet as I only got the nardi after I had the box out.
Im fitting a lightened flywheel and clutch, but didnt figure on needing to replace the spigot bearing until it was all in bits.
previous wheel was a 330mm momo, doesnt seem to be too bad, the s13 has a 330 aswell and I guess it does cover the cluster more than a stock/larger wheel but its not that hard to see and a smaller wheel feels so much better.

Welcome, Small world! I work with Jamie, and I have done some time on your old 1200. Jamie mentioned you just got a cappuccino. I was the one doing the annoying burnouts at the GT5 night the other week, might turn up tonight for another go.
I am in the market for a take-off front bar for my sports sedan. Here is a link to the take off.
http://www.k-takeoff.com/catalog/aero/index.html
I was going to send you an email a few weeks ago and see if you might be interested in shipping one out but did not get around to it. I understand if you can't as it has got to be the most inconvenient and difficult part to pack/store/ send. Let me know
The enki racing s wheels fit a treat on the cappuccino and I believe you already have a set of bands.
Anyway very glad to hear that there is a method for getting cappuccino parts out of Japan.

Yeah small world! Jamie sent me a pic of your car and I recognised it from pics on here.
TakeOff is in my city (about 30mins from my place) I have a little suzuki Every Van but I think Id have to get the bumper delivered to the yard as it probably wont fit. You in Melbourne aswell? if so I have containers heading there every few months so shipping would be no problem. Would just have to be patient.
*Not sure if I can get wholesale prices through TakeOff so would have to chase up a price, anyway if you are keen on the bumper can do
I got some little 13x8 SSR MkIII rims. Might need to modify the fender line with some custom flairs to help fender gap on such tiny wheels. But car is image first, performance second so it has to look cool.

I got a 330mm deep corn and love it!! Remember the steering is height adjustable unlike the mx5s so it doesnt block the speedo as long as he isnt too low.
Jesse really looking forward to see what you have planned love your old s14 and s13 and was still one of best threads on JDMST. |

Hi, re the take off front bar, i will get you to help with the front bar. I am happy to pay retail+shipping+shipping to you+your margin. I understand it is a big and painfull thing to deal with so i will appricate any help.
I am in melb and shipping by sea sounds good.
Give me a few weeks as the current focus is to get the engine up and running, but i will send you an email in a bit.
thanks David |

When I looked a couple of years ago, it was surprisingly cheap. A few hundred pounds - if you're willing to wait for an empty space on a boat. |

I paid £360 for a Cappuccino, 6 years ago. there's usually a loading fee, shipping cost (based on length, height, and width on the registration doc, mine was $65 cu meter) and clearing / unlaoding fee. |

Was well and truely not expecting to see you on here Jesse, especially with a cappuccino too! Nice surprise indeed! (im the guy with the hail damaged cappo)
Just a quick question regarding Diff options though. Any reccomendations? Do i go with the monstersport TDX-100 or do i stick with a Cusco unit? Any real reason not to get the MonsterSport one? |

Fun little car and had the room for one more small car and preferred it to an Alto Work/TRXX/Cervo etc.
My car has a suzuki sports (monstersports) LSD and Im happy with that.
L.S.D.(TDX100) 2.0 way is 75050yen (+costs/shipping etc.)
Cusco RS and MZ LSDs have the option of 1, 1.5 or 2 way so if you cared about that they are a good option 65440 ~66830yen (+costs/shipping etc.)
