Got to agree about the nuclear plant although they are saying the reactor wasn't breached. |

Am not one to usually post these things up, but feel I've got to here. The death toll is rising here as relief efforts start to get underway, and all the while the nuclear problems continue. Food in shops in areas north of Tokyo are running low, with people being asked to eat a little more conservatively to stretch their supplies a little more. And the Nikkei has lost 17% of it's worth in the past 48 hours. Make no bones about it, this is going to take a long long time for the country to bounce back from. And strong aftershocks are still going on now.
If anyone has a few spare pennies or whatever then please donate a little to the Japanese Red Cross through the Google Crisis Response page here:
http://www.google.com/crisisresponse/japanquake2011.html
I would suggest the Japanese Red Cross page themselves but they're being hammered at the moment. Hell, I don't even care if you post up here if you donate something, but every little bit will help the people in Japan try to return to some sort of normality. I'm gonna be forsaking a few potential car upgrades to make a decent donation.
Andy, don't know if you want this here or in a separate new thread. Move to whatever you think will get it the most exposure. |

I've added the link to the scrolling news section and quoted your post to the announcements section too. Should hopefully give it the coverage it deserves |

Stunning set of Photos. I think leaving that one boat in the middle of what was a street is a very good idea.
