Recently i won an auction on ebay for a shot blaster. I couldn't believe my luck at the price i payed and only £4.00 for delivery I then had message from the seller saying he had cocked up and wanted to give me my money back Its taken me a month of being polite to the seller to get the shot blaster because no way did i want my money back i wanted the goods. Ebay encourage buyers and sellers to sort things out amicably and shy away from cases that go legal/small claims court. But the law is if you do win a bid or purchase something at a buy it now price you have entered into a legally binding contract for the said price. As anyone else had problems with sellers on ebay? |

I've been lucky myself but I always read the negative feedback of larger sellers and you would be amazed how many of them are doing this. They put items on auction with 99p starting prices because it is cheap to list that way and when the item sells for less than they want for it it is suddenly "out of stock" even though they are still listing it. I have also watched items who's auction ends early because the seller doesn't think it's going to make the price they want for it. It is taking the piss really and very frustrating. |
