Hi All.
I recently purchased a pair of strut bars, manufactured by Steve - Six Sixty Engineering. I will give you my feedback and advice...
Good communications with the seller all through the process and the items arrived exactly on the day promised. Nicely packaged and everything present and correct.
The instructions given within the forum are more than adequate for a novice user such as myself. I didn't expect too much of a problem. Armed with a printout, I went to the garage to fit the items to my Cappo.

The cables came off without any problem. Just spend a minute seeing how they are attached then it should be no problem. After this, it was time to undo the nuts. Despite applying WD40 the previous night, one of them failed to budge despite throwing everything I had at it. Despite more WD40, and more leverage, all I managed to do was start rounding-off the nut. Time to stop and come up with another strategy.
I ordered a couple of spare nuts because I knew at least one would be destroyed taking them off.

So the nut was taken off by brute force and replaced with a new one after the brace was fitted.
At the rear it was easier, but access is limited to the nut closest to the fuel pipe.

Once the strut was in place, everything was tightened up and the cables attached.

I put the carpets back in before thinking about the pictures, so this was a quick and dirty picture. |

You can definitely get the spare wheel and the roof panels in the back with the strut bar in place. |

I haven't driven it much since the braces were added, but I certainly can notice the difference even in the short distance driven so far. For me, it was definitely worth the money.
It would have been really easy to fit if it wasn't for one stubborn nut.
Would I recommend it? - Yes.
EDIT: I've driven it a bit more since the original post. All I can add is that it's even more of a pleasure to drive that it was before. Going around corners and windy lanes is awesome.
Need to think of the next thing to add........ |

Improved feel and steering response up front and the backs tightened up to the point you can feel whats happening through your butt cheeks. It just gets better with speed. 30mm lower stiffer springs an under brace kit and sticky tyres you then have a go kart for grown ups |

Here's mine fitted
Forgot to take photos of the rear one :@
Got to say, the engineering and workmanship on these is excellent. The paint job is also top notch and am very happy with them.
Gone out for a ride to test them out and the handling has massively improved, much less body roll and much more feel from the car. It feels so much tighter that you could chuck into any corner at any speed and it will just hold on and tell you: "That all you got for me?"
Well worth the buy! Thanks! |

I got a set of these a few weeks ago from Steve and had them fitted by my mechanic while he was doing some other bits and pieces to the car. They were very easy to fit and he thinks they look well.
I have to say that I think they look the business and I am very happy with them. They have definitely tightened up the car an awful lot more and it does not seem to pitch and roll as much as it did before. Don't have any pictures of them fitted yet but will post some up as soon as I get a chance (and reasonable weather as it is lashing here at the moment).
Steve is an absolute gent to deal with so gets a big thumbs up from me. (I couldn't make it any bigger mate..... sorry ) |

Fitted my rear bar yesterday and after a couple of drives can say, really quite impressed by the difference the back end is much firmer, i'm running the shocks at no.1 at the mo god knows what it'll feel like on max stiffness (no.8 ). |
