1994 White Suzuki Cappuccino 657cc RWD Turbo Kei Car

These cars are becoming increasingly rare and sought after with approx. 323 left on the road today according to howmanyleft.co.uk

The Cappuccino was originally equipped with a 657cc F6A DOHC 12-valve, inline 3 cylinder engine that were turbocharged and intercooled.
Power output was a claimed 63hp (47 kW; 64 PS) at 6500 rpm.

Three removable roof panels mean that the car can be used as a closed coupé; T-top; targa; or, on retraction of the rear window and roll bar, a full convertible. Roof panels stow in the boot and the rear targa top assembly retracts into the body behind the seats for full convertible mode.

Owned since 2011
Mileage 114,800
MOT till April 2015
TAX till October 2014

Sadly Cappuccinos can suffer from rust issues, there is no need to worry about rust on this particular example as all the rust has been extensively removed or repaired, and will last for many years to come. Both floor pans front and rear have been repaired, the outer, middle and inner sills have been replaced with genuine Suzuki panels and the front and rear arches repaired.  This was followed by black POR 15 rust preventative coating, seam sealer and underseal.

The Cappuccino has been highly modified with hard to find/rare components and includes, but not limited to the following:-

Monster Sport Uprated Turbo Unit
N2 ECU and uprated 295cc fuel injectors with raised rev limiter
Stage 1 Clutch
BC Coilovers with independent ride height/pre-load (fully adjustable)
Front and Rear Over Fenders
15x8 XXR 002 Alloy Wheels with Neo Chrome wheel nuts
Toyoshima Craft One Piece Roof
Take Off Front Lip Spoiler
Take Off Ducktail Spoiler
Custom chassis modifications
Genuine Deep Corn Nardi steering wheel

All modifications have been carried out in my ownership.

I have not had the car dyno'd and therefore cannot put an exact figure on power but expect it to be around 90-100bhp currently running @ 18psi.

The car itself has been extremely reliable, I have been using it as a daily driver for the past couple of years without issue.

Definitely one of the least rusty examples you will find on the market today.

I have a folder full of receipts, invoices, mots, you name it I have it!

Please note: The alloy wheels could do with a refurbish, they have slight scuffing to the lips, the drivers seat has a small tear in the material.
I no longer have the boot carpets, jack or spare wheel, I use a can of Tyre Weld in the boot for emergency's.

Included in the sale are the 3 normal roof panels (in original leather bags), a genuine spare passenger side mat and genuine owner's manual.

Please note this car will be 20 years old in August.

VIEWING IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as there is too much to list here, a full photographic and written diary of the work is available, please message me for further information.

It is such a shame that I dont have the time or space to carry on with it. I feel it is an ideal starting point for someone wanting to get into Cappuccinos, as all the hard work has already been done.

The car is currently at a cross roads whereas it could become a track day car with a few further developments or a stunning show car with a new shiny paint job. The choice is yours!

Please contact me on 07949 766 868 or email me at nikki746@hotmail.co.uk
Strictly no scammers or timewasters please.

Viewing is welcome any day/time of the week.  The car is located in East London.

I am looking for £3,800.00

That's sad nikki... Your build thread has been an inspiration for all my modifying.... If I was over your side of the planet, I'd be all over it like white plastidip on a hot little cappo!

Thanks for all your lovely comments guys.

Capposteve - If the car goes in bits then yes, but I think a queue is forming.

greenbullfrog - Maybe maybe not, possibly another Kei car but not just yet.

munkeygrease - You can take over my modding duties now then

Ricou - Thanks for your comments.

The downpipe has now been replaced and the headlight condensation fixed

Couple things I noted from the weekend that I haven't mentioned:-

The underside of the bonnet is still red.

Small scuff to the front splitter on the passenger side.

I still have some White Metal Flake which I will give to the new owner so they can spray the bonnet and fenders to match if they wish

I am quite literally selling everything i own that's worth something to try and raise the funds for this. If you don't mind me asking, how much were you paying for insurance? I'm guessing you had all mods declared.

Sorry for the late reply.

I was with Adrian Flux EVERYTHING declared I was paying just under £500.00 but they class my area as not very good due to having the same postcode as the shitty neighboring town

You're mad to keep dropping the price bird. Can't be hasty selling a cappo, unfortunately gotta be patient. Best bet is to advertise it with mx-5 in the name, and even on Nutz as I would think most people that would buy a '5 would also buy a cappo, if they know they exist

Was kinda hoping that if I dropped the price, it may appeal a bit more

I really don't want to break her but if she doesn't sell by the end of this week that's whats going to happen im afraid.

Wouldn't mind so much if I had a drive or garage but she is parked on a public road outside my house, we already have 5 cars and im sure were peeing the neighbors off, im also having to put a daily parking permit in her which is really frustrating me now.

Problem is that if I break her I need to sell the shell first due to lack of space, so if anyones interested in a good shell let me know

On a another note, as you're close to brands, why don't you take it there with for sale signs? Wayne's awesome race car will do all the advertising you need

I know it is sh*t, I have looked at renting a garage locally to me but they are not cheap and id need to obviously keep it insured whilst locked away too.

Not sure how much a decent shell goes for nowadays?

Swings and roundabouts. New vs new, it's cappuccino all day long. Used vs used you find far more mx5 for your money than cappo. I could have a full restored 240bhp turbo mx5 for the price of my cappuccino (how much I could sell it for, not even what it's cost me!)
