Hello people, I have a lovely red suzuki cappuccino convertible (details below) which, unless you are into welding, is good to strip for parts, panels, bits. I have inherited this car from my husband who has died. The car hasn't moved in um, 10?/12? years. It has been outside. It is in a poor state in some respects but in others surprisingly held together well. It does not start: I know there is a problem with fuel supply, and probably plenty of other issues too - I think it would need a loader rather than towing. I need to let it go (we travelled to our marriage in it) but I don't want to give it to a scrap buyer; I would rather someone who loved these little cars was able to use  it... for the roof panels or headlights or engine bits or whatever?! I would be happy for someone to take it away while I dabbed at my face with a hankie. Is anyone interested? I may put it on ebay if there are no takers here. In truth, I have no idea about a fair price. Widowed without income, anything is helpful, so maybe I would leave anyone who's interested to suggest a donation. I'm working on husband's computer where I'm not 100% sure how to move photos around. I can supply pictures shortly as I workaround things. Details follow: Red, 657cc, date of reg 1993, L520CPR (sorn'ed). It's in Milton Keynes, 10 mins from the M1 j14. Do moderators allow an email address? (I'm not Davidmk) I'm contactmargaretk@gmail.com thank you!

As you say there are plenty of good parts available on it.  I quite like the matt red paint look

A new journey being repaired or helping keep others on the road? Either way at least it's not gone to the scrapyard.  You must get another, you know you want to.
