Suzuki Cappuccino Limited Edition
Limited edition features include alcantara seats, power steering and colour coded roof.
93k km / 58k miles, tax and NCT.

This low milage, high spec Cappuccino has had no expense spared on keeping it tip-top.
Over ¤4000 has been spent on this car in the last year, so it does not need a penny put into it for a long while (except for servicing obviously).

All Cappuccinos have some level of rust, and most are getting to the age where a serious overhaul is needed, but this one has very, very little rust. Only surface rust on one side skirt, and the wheels are a little rusty. I was planning to recondition some Honda lightweight wheels, but only sourced the wheels last week. These can be included in the sale at a low additional price.

There are only a handful of Cappuccinos in Ireland, and this limited edition version ensures that you won’t see another car like it on the road! Excellent handling, very very cheap to fuel, service and tax. If everyone had a Cappo there would be no oil crisis!

Sports steering wheel (still have original wheel aswell)
Stainless steel gearknob
Suzuki Sport adjustable suspension
HKS Turbo timer
Strut bar
Upgraded Intercooler pipes
Turbo boost pressure gauge
Boost controller
Boost cut defender
Brand new turbo and exhaust manifold (Genuine Suzuki, replaced only 1500km ago)
Quicksilver Full stainless steel exhaust (installed only 1000km ago, retails @ £400 + VAT!)
Sports air filter
Central Locking (no Cappos came with this, I installed it)
* Please note that a different CD player than the one in the pics will be supplied.

I would like to get as close to ¤6000 as possible, but am negotiable, and as I have already found my next car, will give discount for a sale within the next week or 2. Call Dave on +353 (0)879082096 or email davidclayton @ gmail.com

Not sure I can justify a 3rd cappo to the Mrs, but I could perhaps sell some body parts.  Kidney anyone?

Does anyone know if there's any sort of import duty/vat payable on cars from Ireland?

I've tried searching and not found much of any help apart from a few people saying that you would only need to pay taxes if it was under 6 months old...

I don't think you need to pay any tax bringing a used car into the UK from Ireland as it's inside the EU.

If you bring a car in from outside the EU then you have to pay VAT and duty, unless you've own the car for more than six month in the country you're importing it from, you've been in that country for more than 12 months and you don't sell in the following 12 months after you've imported it.

Forgot to say - I've seen this car and if you want a subtley modified rare Capp, this is the one, only 15 mins from Dublin Port too!

What have you replaced it with David?

I doubt you'd need to pay any tax, as it lived in the Isle of Man for quite a few years. I presume if it was previously registered in the UK, you could not get taxed AGAIN for bringing it back in.

There's someone coming to look at it on Saturday. Seemed pretty serious, so hopefully it won't hang around much longer. As Cappo said though, I am very close to the ferry and airport, so can collect anyone that wants to come over to look at it.

Replaced with a Smart Roadster. Picked it up from Scotland on Sunday. I've had 2 fortwo Smarts before and always wanted a Roadster. Finally the tax laws changed and the Sterling rate plummeted, so I can finally afford one! It's a far more refined drive, but I will definitely miss the more raw and fun drive of the Cappo...
