First and foremost, this is not my car.  However, it belongs to my good friend Andy and he originally asked me to find it for him, so I was involved in the purchase.  We saw many Cappo's, and I myself have seen and driven more Cappos than I care to remember over the past 10 years.  I have owned three so I know what to look for, and this is a good one. 

Andy bought this last summer, but due to heavy work commitments and a new baby has been unable to make the most of it, and has therefore asked me to advertise it on his behalf.  If you are interested in this car, the best way to get hold of Andy is to call him on 07973 129775.  He has access to email but rarely gets the time to read them.

Mechanically it is excellent, it feels tight and new.  The interior is exceptionally tidy, one of the best I have seen in fact and the body work good. 

When buying I did an inspection of the underside, which is solid.   It has some surface rust here and there which would benefit from being brushed off and undersealed, but the arches are not bubbling and overall the car is very rust free (for a cappo).  This is mainly because the car has been garaged most of it's life.

Bad bits
The drivers side roof panel has been dropped at some point, and is dented on one of the corners.  Also the plastic seal on the back of the roof panels has become detached and could do with some attention.  These are only cosmetic, the roof is water tight.  The roof bags are missing. Also there is a small crease on the front of the bonnet if you look carefully, and there are a few scratches here and there, but nothing you would not expect from an 18 year old car!

I have been as honest as possible with the description of this car.  Overall It  is a very good example, and drives well with very low mileage.  It has had a recent big service and is ready to go. 

I wish I knew where to get those chrome door edge protectors from! Looks like a very nice capp though! :)
