Cool.. If you rip out all the seats, change the suspension and fit a roll cage she can come racing with us next year

The 'new' mini or the older version? Have to print the new mini's advertising every couple of months!

I 've had a few classic minis and loved them (next best drive to a Cappo) but I really fancy trying one of these beamers

Got to say i do like the classic mini,it was my first car and i think your first car always holds a special place. It was the same colour as this one it had a lot of works tuning parts on it. The bmw is just a normal modern car it lacks the soul of a classic mini

Same here... My first real car was a Mini Van... That morphed into a Mini Van with a Cooper S engine and then into a proper Mini Cooper S with a difference...

The difference being 4 wheel disk brakes, a crossflow head, twin Webers, a 5 speed Colloti g'box and a fully balanced engine that would run up about 9,000 rpm and produced 130bhp at the front wheels...

Used to scare me sh*tless

Steve, I had to laugh at your 2nd last photo i.e the seat right up close to the steering wheel! .  I take it the other half had just been driving. I am forever walloping my knees or my head after the other half has been driving my other car as I try to squeeze into the seat after she has been driving it! I always say to her 'if us men can get nagged for years to put the toilet seat down after use, then women should learn to put the car seat back in the correct position!'

Cracking car though, lovely colour, great alloys! - I have tried to convince the other half to get a mini but oh no, she wants a Daihatsu Terios!!! A greyhound won't fit in a mini apparently!

Its not only me then, she drive's the cappo with the seat as far forward as it will go.The leg room in the back of the mini is crap that is unless you sit behind missus when she's driving
