Yeah I was reading that. Al. We talked about this ages ago over lunch. It sounds really cool to do. Glad I saw the pictures. Your a cool guy. Some cool cars too.
Would be nice to add a little more to each story. How long you had it. Any stories and where and what you did with it ?

Some of the stories are best told over lunch or pints! I did all the day-to-day stuff with them (down the launderette in the ferrari, run a load to the tip in the maserati, etc), plus some open road stuff, and getting them to & fro the centre of London. I also helped the club out when they needed drivers and helpers with external events - getting cars from a-b, taking them to customers and to the garage when needed. Some events needed responsible passengers when we let joe public out in the cars and also ferrying people to nightclubs afterwards once they'd had a few beers. Often after those nights I'd end up with a free car to take home to save the hassle of getting it back into the club. Quite a lot of convoy driving, including down to the new forest on a hot day with most of us in convertibles (had a silver pagoda for that one). Cruising down the M3 alongside each other to discuss directions etc. Felt like a Californian highway in the 60s! Few pics below from the New Forest: |
