Great pics!  And what lovely surroundings too!

I'm hoping to take mine somewhere to get some decent shots this week.

Looking at the shots of your engine bay I'd be tempted to put more heat shielding around the air filter to cut down on the amount of under bonnet hot air it is drawing in.  Does it have a cold feed pipe leading to it at all?

Drop me a PM if you would like to be added to the ClubCappo Member Map.  More details can be found here.

not at the moment however that is on the plan of mods is to get a heat shield custom made...it will do for the moment as i dont have the stock air box and purchased the car like that.

The original feed to the airbox is located just below your funnel so you may be able to rig up something up from that.  Just a pipe pointing at the funnel would be a little help.  Looking at the size of the funnel it might be sat virtually on top of the feed already, providing the original elbow hose has been removed!

nah the original elbow hose hasnt been removed...its actually still connected to it...youve actually just given me a good idea run a pipe from the front bar into the feed hole in to the air filter...that should do until i can afford to get a heat shield made.

Bar = bumper I'm guessing lol.

You have to be careful with this method that water will not be drawn in.  Round here that is a big problem because we have several dips that fill with water.  So much so that I have to take a different route on some days if it's been raining too much!

I'd be tempted to just remove the elbow and leave it like that if it's close enough or fit a short hose pointing at the filter.

Just noticed something else.  The 'engine room front cover' appears to have been removed.  Whether this was to try provide more cold air to the filter I'm not sure.  I'd have to look properly to see if this would actually have any benifits or would actually cause problems.  Sadly it's pouring down here so can't have a look at the moment.  I'm fairly sure it will let more cold air enter the funnel but maybe leaves the intercooler and radiator more exposed to stones and perhaps doesn't channel as much cold air towards them.

The original cold feed actually comes from behind the driver's side headlight and through the cross member to the filter side.

I've seen other Capps where the owners have done the same so hopefully shouldn't cause any problems.

Looks like you are keeping your cappo in good condition ThePorko! I'm undecided on whether I should get some rear mudflaps - they look good either way.

Finally got myself some new mirrors for the cappa... didnt take long to install i just had to modify the mirror slighty (no chance i was gonna drill into the door) Ive also got sparco pedals to go on but it is way to hot today to do it.

Anyway here are some pics, i would love peoples opinions good or bad. This will be the last exterior/interior mod i do, going to concerte more on making it quicker.

Okay its been awhile since i have updated this thread.

I still havent fixed the mirrors and i know i really should

But in the past year as most of you know i have had a bit of problems and had the car off the road for 3 months.

So things that where fixed and also mods that i done include:

Suzuki Sport Front Strut brace - Fantastic mod i can feel the front strut towers are alot tighter steering was more responsive and abit less bumpy/

Suzuki Sport Type S Front Pads - Work fantastic was out breaking everyone at the track including mx5s

Suzuki Sport Coilovers - Best mod besides the Bridgeston Adrelins RE001s car handles awesome now there is alittle bit of body roll but i will be doing something with the sway bars next year.

Refurb and Re balanced Drive shaft - well uni joint sezied so i got my one re furb and re balanced

Replaced engine mounts, gear box mount - dam skid pans lol although i still believe my gearbox mount wasnt done correctly

Rebuild my Diff - Diff broke so i replaced the diff centre with a Cusco 1 way Mechanical LSD. One of the best mods beside the coilovers/tyres. Mide corner plant it you can feel it tighten back end straightens up and power out. Nothing but grip which is awesome! Also does some good circle work too

Nardi Classic Steering 360mm - Yes it is a bit bigger then i would of like but for $170 bucks i couldnt pass up a deal looks great sort of reminds me of a old school alfa with a massive steering wheel. Also got some random chrome gear knob from repco.

Custom Made 2 1/4 turbo back - had an exhaust leak 2 out of the 3 bolts were missing from the turbo so since it was broken i upgraded! I love the sound of my car and will not change it!

Drift Pod Filter - just a cheap pod but flow just as good as K&N never had any problems with it.

Wow looking back i have done abit this year wallet is also a lot lighter too! But hey its all about saving weight a i guess

Here are some recent pics...bought myself a Nikon D60 DSLR so i thought i would go to Palm Beach for those who dont know it is where they film Home and Away. They were actually filming when i was there and it was where i got the idea to take a pic on the beach. At first i didnt notice it was them. I just sore a mustang parked on the beach and thought it was getting professional pics done.

So as i left i made sure i wooshed them. Had themm all turn around hoped i ruined there take heheh.

Anyway enough from me here are the pics!

My fav pic

simple terms yes. it was about 1900 for the diff centre close to 700 for the crown and pinion and about 900 installed but that also included installing my cucsco clutch. That was all before the Aus dollar went sh*t.
