There wasnt that many.... I know alot more people with an MX5 lol....plus cant let them have all the fun.
With the seat it really wasnt that hard....I am far from mechincally minded and no problems drilling holes. It was probably the easiest mod I have done. |

Clear indicators and Bucket looks awesome Will.
Nice job!. Being so tight, would it be any harder to fit a reclining bucket? When I buy mine and take it to the track, a bucket like yours would be a must. But I'd prefer reclining for the comfort. |

A reclinable bucket wont fit thats why I went fixed bucket...trust me ones your in there is no need to adjust it anyway. I find the seat alot more comfortable than the standard seat. |

Mate of mine during Easter long weekend decided to organise a photoshot so I thought it would be a good opportunity to take the camera out and get some new shots of the Cappuccino.
Thought I would experiment with HDR
Some of my favourite shots of my car.
Now for some of the other cars that were there on the day.
NA8 Mx5
R32 GTR
NB8B Mx5
Last EP3R Honda Civic Type R
Comments Will be much appericated.
Also going on an Epic driving this weekend looks to be 2 hole days of driving. I will do a write up sometime next week. |

Some interesting shots there although i think you could've tried a few more angles.
Your cappo looks like the wheels they match the body work. Have they been painted?
I wanna see pics of the driving weekend too..and Videos!!!! |

Okay only a small updated.
I really did love my Nardi Classic however it does need to be re trimmed. An opportunity came up to purchase a Nardi Deepcorn 330mm which is now on the car.
Also purchased some Zoom Engineering Cup Holders. Lucky my mate was already in Japan and good them for a good price!
But bad news is I lost a roof panel the other day...lucky Kayfour has some for sale which I will be picking up at the end of the month when I head to Melbourne.
Also bouth the Faith rear strut brace of Dave. Will be going on the car when I get a chance. As the Cappuccino is currently sitting at a mates place as I have no garage space. Lucky too because it has decided to rain in Sydney this week.

To this day....the cup holders has to be one of the best mods! Maybe I am just getting to use having such luxuries in my Lexus lol.
Problem with the fixed bucket there isn't enough space between the legs to hold a cup.
Also good think is heater on hot...keeps your cup of cappuccino nice and warm
Thanks for the comments guys. |

Where di you get the nardi steering wheel from? I'm looking for a similar one. Does it bolt straight on or did you have to buy a boss kit?
When are the arches and wheels getting put on? Will look amazing once they are on! |

There are plenty of places that sell Nardi wheels in Aus. I actually bought mine second hand and got it for a good price.
http://www.jdmyard.com is a popular place in Aus where people buy them. Good thing about the Nardi providing you don't have an airbag steering wheel it bolts straight on and don't need a boss kit.
Flares and wheels will come once I do some engine work. I prefer power over looks lol |

Nardi wheels are very nice but also very expensive.... Never understood why cos there is sod all to them....
I also don't understand why steering wheel makers don't leave the centre blank with no holes so you can drill your own..... |

The thing I like about the Nardi is that it's completely round, comfortable and Italian made so it's top quality!! Probably the reason I don't mind paying extra. |

Yep that is Anth's Datto 1600 (510s were known as 1600s in Australia) Car is super clean really love what he has done with it! I would say its one of the best in Aus.
Dave - Yep car made it there and back with no problems but the mechanical diff is clunking a lot louder then it should be so I'm gonna get the oil changed and see how that goes.
Sean - Pretty much straight off the Cappa with only slighty touch up marking it a bit brighter. |

Went to a recent track with some mates over the weekend for a friends birthday.
Looks like the actuator is getting a lot worse. Due to the 30degree heat I only managed the hit 7psi. Now I need to weigh up my options on weather I get it repaired or bite the bullet and upgrade.
Here is a video from the day.

I'd say upgrade That's what I did (bigger turbo + Adaptronic + bigger injectors) and I don't regret it at all. Took me from 13s to 9.5s for 0 to 100km/h.
Nice video by the way ! At last someone who's heel-toeing properly And the track is perfect for the Cappuccino.
Reminds me of my recent trackday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtUnh9y7Gc4 |

Looks like a fun! Track!
I always heel toe even when driving to work in my Lexus I heal toe...feels so wrong if I don't lol. Especially in a car like the Cappa where it is so light it doesn't take much to lock the diff and have the back end slip out, also with an old gearbox are the reasons why I learnt it.
Here is a video from my mates MX5 we were having an awesome battle in the 2nd sessions unfortunately I didn't have my camera on.
About half way through you do see me overtake him!

Okay so I got a new job and start there on the 9th of May. So I had to splash out on some new camera gear.
Got a message from Brian this morning asking if I wanted to go for a quick drive to one of my local mountain roads....I couldn't resist and it was a good chance to test out the new camera.
Here are some better pics of Brian's Cap with his new wheels

Brian will probably has more of an idea then myself.
From memory though the rear is 14x7 +14 the guards do need to be rolled and lipped or bolt on flares. |

Hi,
Nice photos Will, the black and white are particularly nice. Which mountain road did you take, is it near the coast?
Good luck with your new job, staying in the same industry?

Thanks Nick! It was through the Royal National Park which is only 20mins from home.
Sorta of the same industry. Pretty much instead of sellinghouses I am know the photographer that takes the photos and sketch the floorpans. So really all I do is drive around Sydney take photos and draw a floorplan.
Dream job really! Can't wait. |

Its been awhile since I have updated this thread. Unfortunately I don't have any spare cash to through the towards to Cappuccino. However it was good to stretch the legs this morning as I meet up with some mates for breakfast.
I must say it will be 6 years of ownership next year and even still to this day always puts a smile on my face. Although this morning did feel like an eposide of Initial D if only I had the Eurobeat pumping!
