Simple answer - why not? lol
I wanted to fit some new grills anyway so whilst I was doing that I thought I might as well update the look of the rear a bit. My original lights were looking rather tired too. |

Holy thread resurrection Batman!
My reversing light dropped off it's perch a month or so back (it had taken 15 years but the mesh had finally bought it!) and once I prised open both it & the foglight I realised how rusted up & disintegrating the reflectors & bulb holders were inside. I remember seeing this thread ages ago and thought how good Andy's rear lights looked (and rack, lol!) so went a scouting for some suitable repacements...
I did some research on sizes and even got as sad as this...
... before I settled on a set of 66mm "Mix & Match" Hellas from Stafford Vehicle Components (Part Nos 1208RF & 1208RV).
Fitted them tonight along with some new mesh (from this eBay shop - very reasonable I thought!) and couldn't be happier... they look great & changing bulbs should be a piece of cake now too!
Quite like how evil they can look too, haha!
