Lots of work isn't it Sneaza! I made a fibreglass encosure to go in the shelf behind the seats and put my 8" focal sub in there... It fitted well and makes more than enough bass for my listening prefences. What subs are you going to mount in your boot? I did the interior of my car with a bulk pack of dynamat extreme but I still have heaps left over (didn't need to do inside the doors since there's no speakers!). I'll have to put some pics up soon. Your boot looks set for audio now!
(I hate that plate that goes over the fuel filler pipe in the boot, sliced my finger open!) |

At this point NO plans to install in boot, (still need to put the roof somewhere). I originally just did behind the seats, none in the doors, & under feet & had a bit left over but couldn't just let it sit there , so the boot was obvious choice. Your not alone about the Fuel pipe cover, Mongrel of a thing, had to remove some Mat to get bolt holes to line up. Have been driving car as seen in pics & not as noisy since putting in DynaMat.They also say it insulates against heat??? time will tell..... Any pics of your install capgun??? |

well the bonnet, boot, rear window trim, radiator support, timing cover, spark plug cover and shrouds in front of the radiator are all done roof is almost there, ive been told that the 31st is the goal for that so hopefully it all works out and i have a carbon roof for the cruise otherwise..i'll need an umbrella lol.
more exiting than the carbon stuff (yes more exiting) i heard my new motor on the dyno last friday and it sounded pretty awesome i cant wait to drive it,its gonna be hard tho as its just got a run in tune atm and the guy tuning it said" yeah the power really starts to come on hard right around 6000 " (guess where its limited to ) from the look of things it'll get 1 bar boost at 6500 and who knows what higher than that >

Dave, I'd be frequently wetting myself with excitement if that were my engine I'm guessing the rev limit is around the 10000rpm mark?
Can you give us any details about the tuning? |
