i have to have some secrets to keep me ahead of the pack

I really don't think you have to worry about that!  Even with stock cams it sounds like it would be the fastest Cap in existence!!

Fair enough I'm guessing reprofiled aftermarket ones then, plus your vernier cam pulleys to fine-tune the angle. You'll have to get a decent recording of how the engine sounds once everything's back together and running, it should sound pretty impressive!

That's the first pic of a colour coded red car that I actually like!

Why does it work in that case? Is it just the angle of attack of the pics?

I think the angle has got a lot to do with it yes, plus the lighting.

Maybe we need someone on here with an body-coloured Cappo roof to replicate these pics with their own Cappo so we can judge how much id the photography.

What about the alternative - the black bonnet and roof and boot option - that can look very good too.

I think that was/is actually Dany's car that's in France.

It looks nice, apart from the hostess trolley on the back - but not as nice as those earlier shots - so.... it's the angle then????

I don't know if it is actually Dany's, but I stole it from his site!

I am still unsure of the colour coded roof think.  I think I will have to see it in the flesh to be certain.

The lighting makes the earlier red look darker which really helps.

I think it looks really good in the rear downwards view shot    - very effective!
Like the spoiler.

Don't like the spoiler on that one of Dannys, though.
The similar all-Black (&carbon?) one looks far better.
Saying that, it's one of the few spoilers of that type I've seen on owt that is actually colour coded, which does make it look far better than usual.

Very nice.
Looks a little tight, though?

I wouldn't get away with those around here due to the state of the roads being so aweful.
